Felbat

• Skills and Work Suitability – Medicine Production level 3

The best pal for Medicine Production in Palworld is Felbat. The reason for this is that their only skill is level 3 Medecine, which means they’ll dedicate all their time crafting medicines and won’t worry about other tasks like multi-skill Pals do.

There’s only one way to get a Felbat and that is to fight and capture the Felbat Alpha Pal in the northwest of the map, just southeast of the Forgotten Island Church Ruins fast travel statue. It’s a tough fight, but worth the effort for Felbat’s medicinal skills.

Lyleen

• Skills and Work Suitability – Medicine Production level 3, Planting level 4, Handiwork level 3, Gathering level 2

Lyleen has level 3 Medicine Production, making them one of the most efficient apothecaries in the game. Alongside, they also have a host of other useful skills, including level 4 Planting, which means you can put them to work even when there’s no medicine to make.

Lyleen are located in the No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary in the far northeastern corner of the map, which is an island out at sea past the Desiccated Desert Area. If they don’t spawn, run around a little and they’ll pop up.

Lifmunk

Though Lifmunk only has level 1 Medicine Production, they are one of the easiest medicine-focused Pals to find, which makes them an excellent early-game Medicine Production Pal. A healthy selection of other skills means they can be put to good use elsewhere while you’re gathering the resources needed to craft medicine.

Lifmunk can be found in numerous areas across the map per the heat map above. But for ease, we recommend heading north from the starting area towards the Chillet Alpha Pal boss and the Fort Ruins fast travel statue where you’ll find plenty of them to capture.

Bristla

• Skills and Work Suitability – Medicine Production level 2, Planting level 1, Handiwork level 1, Transporting level 1, Gathering level 1

With the level 2 Medicine Production skill, Bristla will keep you stocked in healing items, but their other skills allow them to jump to other tasks when needed. Much like Lifmunk, Bristla is easy to get early on and as such is a great addition to a starter base.

You’ll find Bristla towards the center of the map, north of the Desolate Church area, near the Hypocrite Hill, Lake Center, Ancient Ritual Site, and Cinnamoth Forest fast travel statues.

Vaelet

• Skills and Work Suitability – Medicine Production level 3, Planting level 2, Handiwork level 2, Transporting level 1, Gathering level 2

Like Felbat and Lyleen, Valet has the highest Medicine Production level in the game at level 3. But, it’s the wealth of auxiliary skills that makes this Pal worth seeking out and capturing for your base. 

Vaelet spawns in the No. 1 Wildlife Sanctuary, which is the island out to sea southeast of the starting area. We recommend at least a Hyper Sphere for this one. If the Vaelet doesn’t show up immediately, run/fly around the area and it will eventually spawn, typically just before nightfall. Alternatively, you can fight and capture the Vaelet Alpha Boss, which is located next to the Sealed Realm of the Guardian fast travel statue.
