Hidden away in a high-level area, getting yourself a Sibelyx is no mean feat. While its utility in a base isn’t super great, Sibelyx has brilliant combat utility as an offensive Pal.

Sibelyx location in Palworld
Sibelyx can be found on the northernmost section of the map in the Tundra region. They only spawn here, but they do so in great numbers. Finding one won’t be the problem, instead, getting there and catching one will be your biggest hurdle. The Tundra region is extra cold, so you will need warm clothing to stave that off. Furthermore, Sibelyx is a high-level Pal, so you need to be around level 40 – 45 to stand a chance when fighting it.
If you want to get to the Tundra region, also known as the Astral Mountains, you can reach it by travelling north, quite simply. One of the easiest ways to get there is to fly using a mount. You can just dart across the map, but make sure you grab all the fast travel points on the way to make getting back there easier if you die. Once you get to the Unthawed River fast-travel, you can travel to the east to find some Sibelyx.
How to catch Sibelyx in Palworld
As an ice-type Pal, Sibelyx is weak to fire, so bear this in mind when trying to catch one. Catching a Pal in Palworld is generally the same process over and over again, but you might need to bring a higher-grade Pal Sphere. Using a fire Pal to wear it down will be your best bet, so give it your best shot.
Throw a Pal Sphere from behind
Throwing a Pal Sphere at a Pal while you’re behind it will increase your chances of successfully capturing it significantly. Make sure you Pal is going to keep Sibelyx busy while you get in some pot shots and throw Pal Spheres.
Palworld – Sibelyx Skills
One of the main aspects of Pals in Palworld is their skills, and Sibelyx has a good spread. While not the best, Sibelyx can help out around your base with its passive skills in Medicine Production, Cooling, and Farming. In the case of Sibelyx, the skills you will mostly be interested in are the abilities it has in combat, being a strong ice Pal. Sibelyx has a decent spread of Work Suitability, with:
- Level 2 Medicine
- Level 2 Cooling
- Level 1 Farming
Medicine will let your Pals help out at Medicine Workbenches and craft Medicine and other consumables that will help you and your Pals. The Cooling skill lets you Pal cool Food Storage Units, in order to preserve them from going off. Farming lets your Pal generate items while they are manning a Ranch, which is useful for getting a smattering of resources. Here is a list of Sibelyx’s active skills.

Sibelyx has a Partner Skill called Silk Maker, which lets you deal more damage to an enemy. Sibelyx also has a chance to produce High-Quality Cloth when assigned to the ranch in your base.
Sibelyx item Drops and Materials
Sibelyx drops Ice Organ and High-Quality Cloth. When you capture, kill, or Butcher a caught Pal, you have a chance of getting its items.
Each Pal has a different loot table dictating what it can drop, but you have a good chance of always getting something from any Pal on capture or kill. Ice Organs are dropped mostly by all ice-type Pals, but the High-Quality Cloth is a great item, so getting these from Sibelyx is a good idea if you need to farm.
Capture or kill?
If you’re calculated with your Pals, you could opt to first capture it, to receive the drops, and then Butcher it to get the drops once again. This method will see you murder quite a few Pals, but you can get double the drops from one Pal.
Sibelyx has a lot of HP, so beating can be a tall order if you’re not at the right level. The best way to do this is to exploit its element-type weakness with a Fire Pal like Foxparks.
