How to hatch an egg in Palworld

If you’re unsure on how to get an egg, it requires breeding. You can check out our guide to that as well. Once you’ve got the egg, either from breeding or finding it in the wild (in nests or on cliffs), you need to put the egg in an incubator.

Once the egg is placed inside, it will hatch a brand new Pal in due time. You can make the process faster by keeping the egg comfortable, such as controlling the temperature using a heater or cooler. The type of egg matters for this, so be sure to pay attention to the egg’s type to make sure they’re as comfortable as can be.

You may get a warning that your egg seems a little cold in Palworld. This often happens if you’re incubating outside and night arrives. The best way to avoid this is to keep it in a base so that it’s warmer.

How to get incubators in Palworld

Getting an incubator is the most important part of hatching an egg because the egg is useless without it. Fortunately, they’re not hard to get. Egg Incubators are unlocked at level 7, and you need the following materials to make one:

• 30 Stone
• 5 Cloth
• 10 Paldium Fragments
• 2 Ancient Civilization Parts

You can find the Egg Incubator in the Ancient Technology Tab once you’ve reached level 7. From there, you’re free to unlock it and build one. While it’s a low level item, it requires some rare materials.

Palworld Egg List

Currently, there is a list of nine eggs for each element in Palworld. The full Palworld egg list is as follows, with the type of Pals (influencing even the rarity of the Pal) that can hatch from them:

• Common Egg – Neutral-type
• Damp Egg – Water-type
• Dark Egg – Dark-type Pals
• Dragon Egg – Dragon-type Pals
• Electric Egg – Electric-type Pals
• Frozen Egg – Ice-type Pals
• Rocky Egg – Ground-type Pals
• Scorching Egg – Fire-type Pals
• Verdant Egg – Grass-type Pals

The breeding list allows you to breed Pals together and produce the above eggs, which can have lots of different Pals. Huge eggs can be produced as well, and the strongest Pals often come from these special eggs. It’s one of the best mechanics for improving your team!
