To catch most of these, you’ll want to use Hyper Spheres or, at a stretch, Giga Spheres, but when using the latter you’ll need to get the Pals’ health as low as possible without killing them to catch them.

Suzaku

With level 3 Kindling and no other skills, the Suzaku is made to toil away at your furnaces and cooking pots. You’ll find Suzaku in abundance during the day in and around the Desiccated Desert, specifically around the Duneshelter fast travel spot, in the northeast of the map around coordinates 362, 286.

Faleris

• Other skills – Transporting level 3

With level 3 Kindling and Transporting, Faleris can not just power your furnaces but also carry crafted goods to storage boxes, taking over a tedious task that would otherwise fall to you. Faleris Pals are found in the No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary in the very far northeastern corner of the map.

Blazamut

Another dual-skilled fire-type Pal that excels at Kindling, Blazamut also has level 3 Mining so you can put him to work at a mining camp or on Sulfur, Ore, and Stone deposits at a secondary farming base. Blazamut is located in the No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary in the far northwest of the map.

Reptyro

Reptyro’s level 3 Kindling skill should cover most of your furnace and cooking needs, but this Pal also has level 3 Mining should you need it. You’ll find Reptyro in and around Mount Obsidian in the west of the map, typically around the eastern side of the base of the volcano.

Blazehowl

The Blazehowl is a worthy addition to any smelting setup thanks to a level 3 Kindling skill. They can also be used as a fairly speedy mount for exploring. Though rare, you can track down Blazehowl along the coast west of Mount Obsidian in the southwest of the map.

Ragnahawk

Ragnahawk has level Kindling along with level 3 Transporting. They are also hardy battlers and flying Pals that you can use to fight and explore the map. The best location to find Ragnahawk is around the lava pits at the top of Mount Obsidian and in the area southwest of the volcano.

Jormuntide Ignis

With level 4 Kindling, Jormuntide Ignis is by far the best Kindling Pal in Palworld. They absolutely tear through cooking and smelting tasks. But, they are also one of the hardest to capture as they are typically level 40 or above out in the wild. You can find them in No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary in the far northwestern part of the map. Alternatively, you can hatch them from Huge Scorched Eggs, which you’ll find inside the Mount Obsidian volcano in the southwest of the map.

Here are the best early-game Pals for Kindling in Palworld:

The best Pals for Kindling in Palworld are near-enough unattainable in the early game because you’ll be under-levelled so won’t be able to handle all the damage they dish out when trying to capture them. Not to worry though, as there are a few early-game Pals that excel at Kindling and are easy to catch. They’ll work out as excellent starting fire-type Pals to get your smelting and cooking operation up and running.

Foxparks

The best early-game area for capturing Vanwyrm is northwest of the starting island, near the Ravine Entrance fast travel point.
