You’re in the right place to find the FC 24 best Evolution players! Evolutions are a brand-new feature in EA Sports FC 24 Ultimate Team, allowing you to upgrade some of your favourite players, creating club legends in the process.

We have managed to put in hours playing the game early, so check out our FC 24 Review. We were lucky enough to get our hands on the game even before FC 24 early access, so we had plenty of time to get our heads around the new evolution system.

Whether you need more pace at the back, better weak foot ratings for your strikers, or harder-working wingers, find out the best evolution players in FC 24 below and how to improve their stats.

FC 24 Best Evolution players

Take a look at the best evolution players for all the live EVOs in FC 24 Ultimate Team.

Founders Evolution

  • +2 OVR
  • +3 PAC
  • +3 SHO
  • +3 DRI
  • +3 PHY
  • +1 Weak Foot

Upgrade a striker with the Founders Evolution in Ultimate Team. The Evolution guarantees a +2 overall boost to your player upon completion.

You can only use players rated between 75-83 Overall for this one. This limits the pool of players considerably, although there are some great options.

Mike’s Advice

Take your time. Don’t rush into a decision like we all have been guilty of! A bit more homework can unearth some incredible EVO pathways for players to become club legends, so just stay patient.

Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez and RB Leipzig hitman Timo Werner have both been popular picks due to their high pace stats already. Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic and Everton’s Arnaut Danjuma are also among the favourites.

Centurions Attacking Mid EVO

  • +4 OVR
  • +6 PAC
  • +6 SHO
  • +6 PAS
  • +6 DRI
  • +1 Weak Foot
  • Incisive Pass, Pinged Pass, and Long Ball Pass PlayStyles

Possibly the worst EVO so far, the Centurions Attacking Mid Evolution was pricey and didn’t produce top players for the cost. Putting PSG forward Kangin Lee’s TOTW 5 card through the upgrade is one of the more popular options.

If you want to waste some coins or FC points, check out the FC 24 Centurions Attacking Mid Evolution!

Centurions Striker EVO

  • +3 OVR
  • +7 PAC
  • +3 SHO
  • +2 PAS
  • +2 DRI
  • +3 PHY
  • High Attacking Work Rate
  • Rapid PlayStyle

The Centurions Striker Evolution was a very popular release, allowing you to upgrade some fan-favourite cards. It also saw the much slated Serhou Guirassy Trailblazers item get a new lease of life, as you were able to turn him into one of the best strikers in the game.

There are some big names that can be upgraded through this EVO! Check out the FC 24 Centurions Striker Evolution.

Centurions Center Back EVO

  • +3 OVR
  • +2 PAC
  • +10 PAS
  • +2 DRI
  • +3 DEF
  • +3 PHY
  • Pinged Pass and Long Ball Pass PlayStyles

Another brilliant release from the Centurions promo, the Centurions Center Back Evolution gave your CB the ability on the ball to play out from the back. Josko Gvardiol is by far the favourite to put through this one.

However, if you hadn’t completed the Trailblazer Centre Back EVO, you could combine it with this one with great results. Putting Chelsea’s Malang Sarr through both is a great shout! Check out the FC 24 Centurions Center Back Evolution.

Triple Threat Wingback EVO

  • +3 OVR
  • +5 PAC
  • +5 PAS
  • +5 DRI
  • +5 DEF
  • +5 PHY
  • Relentless, Incisive Pass, and First Touch PlayStyles

The first of the Triple Threat EVOs offers the chance to upgrade a full back. We opted for Aaron Wan-Bissaka here, but there are some great options.

Denzel Dumfries and Julian Ryerson are both quality players, and get even better after being put through this upgrade. Certainly food for thought. See the full FC 24 Triple Threat Wingback Evolution and how to complete it here.

Triple Threat Attacker EVO

  • +3 OVR
  • +5 PAC
  • +5 SHO
  • +2 PAS
  • +5 DRI
  • +2 PHY
  • Power Shot, Technical, and Press Proven PlayStyles

An attacking boost is always exciting, and the Triple Threat Attacker Evolution did not disappoint. Despite it being paid for, it is a remarkably easy challenge to complete.

Just five games are needed to finish this upgrade, and your chosen player can reach 87 OVR. With the likes of Alexander Isak and Romelu Lukaku available to use, you really are spoilt for choice. Find out more about the FC 24 Triple Threat Attacker Evolution.

Relentless Winger II EVO

  • +6 OVR
  • +4 PAC
  • +7 SHO
  • +7 PAS
  • +7 DRI
  • Whipped Pass and Relentless PlayStyles

If you thought this EVO was going to be a follow up to the original, sadly, you are mistaken. Annoyingly, you are unlikely to be able to use your previously upgraded winger here.

However, there is still a solid upgrade on offer. Aston Villa’s Leon Bailey looks incredible upon completion of this upgrade. See the potential ratings and how to complete the FC 24 Relentless Winger II Evolution here.

Pacey Winger II EVO

  • +4 OVR
  • +8 PAC
  • +3 SHO
  • +4 PAS
  • +4 DRI
  • +4 PHY
  • Rapid and Quick Step PlayStyles

Just like the above, the Pacey Winger II is not a sequel. Wingers have been a common theme so far, and this doesn’t seem like a secondary upgrade path.

If you missed any of the previous winger EVOs though, this should get you back on track with healthy upgrades for Pace and some useful new PlayStyles. Read all about the FC 24 Pacey Winger II Evolution.

Toughen Up EVO

  • +2 OVR
  • +10 PAC
  • +8 PAS
  • +3 DRI
  • +2 PHY
  • Press Proven PlayStyle

The Toughen Up Evolution offers a great pace and passing boost, as well as a physical bump. The great thing about it is there is no Overall restriction on it!

This means many people have put Bernardo Silva through the EVO to change an 88-rated card into a 90-rated one for free!

Power Shooter EVO

  • +3 OVR
  • +3 PAC
  • +5 SHO
  • +2 PAS
  • +2 DRI
  • +3 PHY
  • +1 Weak Foot
  • First Touch and Power Shot PlayStyles

Give your striker a pinpoint and powerful finish with the Power Shooter Evolution. But only if you want to pay the price…

For a cost of 150,000 coins or 1,500 FP, this EVO is not worth it. For those who still want to do it, Victor Boniface’s POTM item and Lauren James are the top choices.

Hero Upgrade EVO

  • +2 OVR
  • +2 PAC
  • +2 SHO
  • +2 PAS
  • +2 DRI
  • +2 DEF
  • +2 PHY
  • Tika Taka and Press Proven PlayStyles

Give your FUT Hero an all-around boost and a couple of new PlayStyles with the Hero Upgrade Evolution. It comes at a slight cost, but could be worth it if you have one of the best options.

Park Ji Sung, Sonia Bompastor, Robbie Keane, and Alex Scott are the Heroes you want to have in your club for this EVO. Luckily, a repeatable Hero Upgrade SBC was released alongside this, so you could keep digging for the card you want!

Marauder EVO

  • +6 OVR
  • +8 PAC
  • +3 SHO
  • +6 PAS
  • +12 DRI
  • +7 DEF
  • +6 PHY
  • First Touch and Technical PlayStyles

The Marauder Evolution is one of the best released in FUT 24. It offers a substantial upgrade, turning a CB into a defensively solid, ball-playing unit!

Ben White and Inigo Martinez look especially good after this boost. Find out more about the FC 24 Marauder Evolution.

Expired Evolutions

Sadly, the EVOs below have expired. You can still check if you made the right choice below.

Welcome to Evolutions

  • +1 OVR
  • +1 PAC
  • +1 PAS
  • +1 DRI
  • +1 PHY

To get you started in Evolutions, EA released the Welcome to Evolutions, evolution. As you can see, there were just some minor upgrades to get you started in the game.

We feel as though this was a bit of a free hit. The upgrades make a marginal difference, so it’s not crucial who you pick, or even if you complete it. Select one of your favourite players or club’s cult-heroes to upgrade as a customized option in the game.

Pacey Protector EVO

  • +2 OVR
  • +15 PAC
  • +6 PAS
  • +3 DEF
  • +5 PHY

The centre-back evolution was well worth completing. Adding 15 Pace to a CB makes a massive difference, although you were limited to using a defender with a maximum 65 Pace to begin with.

As for which player to use, Giorgio Chiellini was the top pick. However, his MLS links make him less desirable, so the likes of Joel Matip, Victor Lindelof, and Aritz Elustondo are popular to use.

Find out more about the FC 24 Pacey Protector Evolution and how to complete.

Relentless Winger EVO

  • +6 OVR
  • +4 PAC
  • +7 SHO
  • +7 PAS
  • +7 DRI
  • Relentless PlayStyle
  • RW alternate position

The Relentless Winger EVO was the first in the game that you needed to unlock through the use of Ultimate Team coins or FC Points.

At 50k coins, you want value. That is what you got with this evolution as it could transform one of your lower-rated wingers into a first-team starter.

Brighton’s new signing Ansu Fati was a popular pick for this one. Ajax star Steven Bergwijn, Italian sensation Stephan El Shaarawy, and Crystal Palace creator Eberechi Eze were also top selections.

Find out more about the FC 24 Relentless Winger Evolution and how to complete.

Golden Glow Up Pt. 1 EVO

  • +16 OVR
  • +5 PAC
  • +16 SHO
  • +14 PAS
  • +16 DRI
  • +15 DEF
  • +12 PHY

This EVO was locked to bronze players only. With a max. rating of 64 overall, you could transform a bronze player from your club to an 80 overall.

Manchester United youngster Kobbie Mainoo was the favourite for this one. If you were lucky enough to pack him or find him for a reasonable price on the transfer market, he was the standout choice.

Golden Glow Up Pt. 2 EVO

  • +4 OVR
  • +1 PAC
  • +3 SHO
  • +3 PAS
  • +3 DRI
  • +3 DEF
  • +3 PHY
  • TikiTaka and Pinged Pass PlayStyles

The second part of the Golden Glow Up EVO did not need to use the same player as the first. However, if you wanted your bronze player to be a club legend, you needed to use them.

Plenty of players were using Ryan Gravenberch in this evolution, after putting him through the Welcome to Evolutions set. As the upgrade offers a wide range of upgrades plus two of the new FC 24 PlayStyles, it was a must-do.

Pacey Winger EVO

  • +4 OVR
  • +8 PAC
  • +3 SHO
  • +4 PAS
  • +4 DRI
  • +4 PHY
  • Quick Step and Rapid PlayStyles

There were two clear favourites for the Pacey Winger Evolution – Matteo Politano and Malcom! The Italian became a very meta option, with Quick Step and Rapid added to his other PlayStyles of Finesse Shot, Whipped Pass, Technical, and Trivela.

If you are able to upgrade this card in further Evolutions, it could be very special!

If you don’t want to follow the crowd, then Grace Chanda looks like a fun option to go for. Unfortunately, she already has Quick Step and Rapid PlayStyles, so it could be seen as a bit of a waste.

Find out more about the FC 24 Pacey Winger Evolution and how to complete.

Bruiser Wingback EVO

  • +9 OVR
  • +3 PAC
  • +5 PAS
  • +5 DRI
  • +10 DEF
  • +10 PHY
  • Bruiser PlayStyle

Timothy Weah was the man that everyone wanted to put through the Bruiser Wingback Evolution. Unfortunately, that saw his price skyrocket!

Weah would become a real box-to-box option on the wing with the upgrade. However, he still didn’t have incredible stats, so you’ll be hoping for another Evolution to put him through in the future!

Find out more about the FC 24 Bruiser Wingback Evolution and how to complete.

Trailblazer Interceptor EVO

  • +8 OVR
  • +5 PAC
  • +4 PAS
  • +7 PHY

There is more to this upgrade than meets the eye. The upgrades for each attribute category are not all the same, therefore EA is unable to quantify the upgrade in Defending stats.

What you need to know is there is a +16 to Interceptions. There are also hefty upgrades to other defensive qualities too.

Italian maestro Nicolo Rovella, Nicolas Dominguez, and Luis Milla all look excellent for this costly EVO. Find out more about FC 24 Trailblazer Interceptor Evolution and how to upgrade your players.

Trailblazer Slide Tackler EVO

  • +4 OVR
  • +5 PAC
  • +5 PAS
  • +5 DRI
  • +5 DEF
  • +5 PHY
  • High Defensive Work Rate
  • Slide Tackle PlayStyle

There is a significant upgrade on offer here. A +5 boost across the board will make a serious difference to your left back.

The early signs were that Man Utd star Tyrell Malacia was the go-to star here. We aren’t so sure, especially given he already has the Slide Tackle PlayStyle.

Robin Gosens and Kieran Tierney are two players we would recommend looking at for this one. Find out more about FC 24 Trailblazer Slide Tackler Evolution, including how to upgrade.

Trailblazer Striker EVO

  • +11 OVR
  • +6 PAC
  • +13 SHO
  • +10 PAS
  • +10 DRI
  • +10 PHY
  • Power Header, Chip Shot, and Finesse Shot PlayStyles

Although it initially looked great, the Trailblazer Striker Evolution wasn’t that brilliant. For 50,000 coins you could pick up a better striker from the transfer market.

However, if you did want to develop a player instead, then Emmanuel Dennis’ Nottingham Forest card and Eddie Nketiah were the favourites.

Find out more about the FC 24 Trailblazer Striker Evolution.

Trailblazer Centre Back EVO

  • +8 OVR
  • +8 PAC
  • +9 PAS
  • +9 DRI
  • +9 DEF
  • +10 PHY
  • Power Header, Aerial, and Acrobatic PlayStyles

The Trailblazer Centre Back Evolution is a brilliant way to get a really solid CB on the cheap. The ability to combine it with othe EVOs also made it a top release to complete.

West Ham defender Thilo Kehrer was a top choice for this set, and we also really like the look of putting Unai Nunez through it. Check out the FC 24 Trailblazer Centre Back Evolution.

Centurions Box-to-Box Midfielder EVO

  • +3 OVR
  • +3 PAC
  • +3 SHO
  • +3 PAS
  • +3 DRI
  • +3 DEF
  • +3 PHY
  • High Attacking and High Defensive Work Rate
  • Relentless, Bruiser, and Pinged Pass PlayStyles

Although it comes at a steep price, the Centurions Box-to-Box Midfielder Evolution is possibly the best EVO we’ve had so far in FUT 24. This is because you could upgrade an 84-rated player into a top meta item!

Marcos Llorente is by far the best card to put through the EVO, although a certain NWSL player actually has a better Meta Rating according to EasySBC. Check out the FC 24 Centurions Box-to-Box Midfielder Evolution.

Centurions Sharpshooter EVO

  • +10 OVR
  • +5 PAC
  • +15 SHO
  • +8 PAS
  • +8 DRI
  • +5 PHY
  • Low Defensive Work Rate
  • Finesse Shot and Trivela PlayStyles

The Centurions promo brought us some stellar EVOs, with the Centurions Sharpshooter Evolution another top upgrade. It could turn a decent winger into a deadly finisher, with a couple of the best meta PlayStyles added for good measure!

Wolves winger Pedro Neto was the player everyone was trying to get hold of, with his clubmate Hwang Hee Chan another good option. Check out the FC 24 Centurions Sharpshooter Evolution.

Centurions Upgrade EVO

  • +2 OVR
  • +1 PAC
  • +2 SHO
  • +2 PAS
  • +2 DRI
  • +2 DEF
  • +1 PHY

The Centurions Upgrade Evolution was our first that required a specific promo player. This limited the player pool significantly, with only 10 players eligible (at the time of writing).

A decent option if you packed one of the players, but not worth buying one of them for. Check out the FC 24 Centurions Upgrade Evolution.
