There seems to be an abundance of top right-backs in the game at the moment, so there are plenty of options to pick from when looking for the best RB to sign in FC 24 Career Mode! Trent Alexander-Arnold – 86 Overall

Despite receiving a downgrade going into the game, Trent Alexander-Arnold is still one of the best right-backs in EA Sports FC 24. The Liverpool man is part of a strong England contingent in that position, and also one of the best passers in FC 24! If you sign him will you keep him in that position, or move him into central midfield?

Joao Cancelo – 86 Overall

Able to play just as well at RB or LB, Joao Cancelo joins Trent at the top of the RB ratings in FC 24 with an 86 OVR. As the man who instantly springs to mind when thinking about inverted full-backs, if you want to overload the midfield with an extra defender you can’t get much better than Cancelo. However, you will have to wait for him to return to Manchester City from his loan spell at Barcelona before being able to sign him.

Jeremie Frimpong – 84 Overall

There looks to be a new Career Mode go-to signing in the RB position thanks to Jeremie Frimpong’s upgrade in the game. The Netherlands international is a very attacking talent and also one of the fastest players in FC 24! His incredible dribbling ability means he can turn defence into attack with pace. He shares an 88 POT rating with TAA, the highest of any player in the position.

Achraf Hakimi – 84 Overall

Interestingly, World Cup semi-finalists Morocco have a couple of the best right-backs around. PSG’s rapid RB Achraf Hakimi is an Ultimate Team favourite, with Bayern Munich’s Noussair Mazraoui often going under the radar. Hakimi can do it all and even has great finishing for a defender, so don’t be afraid to shoot with him in and around the box!

Reece James – 83 Overall

Unfortunately, Reece James keeps getting injured, which is resulting in his rating and potential falling throughout the season. Despite that, the Chelsea man should still be one of your top targets when looking for a right-back to sign in Career Mode. His physicality means you could convert him into a very mobile CB, although it would be a waste of his crossing abilities!
