Most wonderkids in FC 24 Career Mode can be picked up for cheap, which will be an excellent investment for your side when they turn into one of the best in their position. If you bring in a wonderkid CB then you can relax in the knowledge that your defence will be in safe hands for another decade!

We are classing wonderkids as anyone who is a teenager at the start of your FC 24 Career Mode save and are including anyone with a base position of CB.

Antonio Silva – 88 Potential

Benfica’s Antonio Silva is the best wonderkid CB in FC 24. He has become one of the first names on the team sheet and could develop into one of the best players in the game. Silva possesses all the qualities of a modern-day CB, fast, strong, solid at the back, calm on the ball, and able to play out from the back.

Jorrel Hato – 87 Potential

Ajax have another wonderkid on their hands, with Jorrel Hato set for big things in the future. He isn’t the tallest or strongest around but he has great speed and ability on the ball.

Giorgio Scalvini – 86 Potential

Italy has produced many top defenders over the years, and Giorgio Scalvini could be the next one. Atalanta will want to hold on to him for as long as they can, but if you are after a purely defensive CB, it could be worth making an offer for Scalvini.

Ousmane Diomande – 85 Potential

Another from the Portuguese league, we have Ousmane Diomande of Sporting CP. The Ivorian is more of an old-school CB, relying on his incredible strength to focus on defensive duties, rather than worrying about building from the back.

Zeno Debast – 83 Potential

Belgium’s Golden Generation didn’t manage to pick up the silverware, so maybe it’s time to look to future prospects. Aside from having an awesome name, Zeno Debast brings great versatility to the defence, and would be more than capable of stepping up into CDM.
