Bringing in wonderkids to your club in FC 24 Career Mode will help you build a dominant side that can be competitive over many years. Although these players may not start with the highest ratings in FC 24, they have the potential to challenge at the top after a few seasons. 

We are classing wonderkids as anyone who is a teenager at the start of your FC 24 Career Mode save and are including anyone who has a base position of LB or LWB. 

Alejandro Balde – 89 Potential 

There is one wonderkid LB who is miles ahead of the competition, and that is Barcelona’s Alejandro Balde. Taking over the mantle from Jordi Alba, Balde has become Xavi’s go-to choice in the position. Not only is he the best wonderkid LB, but he is also one of the best young LBs in FC 24. 

Patrick Dorgu – 86 Potential

Lecce has a top-looking LB in their ranks. Patrick Dorgu already has decent movement stats which will just keep improving over time. Get him on the training ground to boost his defensive abilities and you will have a top player.

Milos Kerkez – 85 Potential 

If Milos Kerkez takes your fancy then you will have to wait before making a move, as Bournemouth has just signed the youngster from AZ Alkmaar. It’s easy to see why they went for him, as he is pacey, agile, and comfortable with the ball at his feet. 

Valentin Barco – 84 Potential 

Argentine Valentin Barco has played everywhere along the left wing for Boca Juniors, so if you are after a versatile, attacking LB, he could be top of your list. You can also pick him up for cheap, as he isn’t playing in one of Europe’s top leagues. 

Tom Rothe – 83 Potential

At 6’4″, Tom Rothe isn’t the usual build for a full-back. You may actually find he is better suited to playing at CB instead. He isn’t the fastest around, but he has great strength and good defending capabilities to boost.
