You won’t need to break the bank to sign some of these wonderkid goalkeepers in FC 24 Career Mode. Thanks to the way progression and development work in the game, they can reach higher than their estimated ceiling. If you get one of these guys early, play them regularly, and they perform well, you can easily get one of the best keepers in the game. 

Usually, we classify wonderkids as anyone who is a teenager at the start of your FC 24 Career Mode save. However, as goalkeepers usually develop later and have longer careers, this has been upped to anyone who is 21 years old or younger. 

Guillaume Restes – 87 Potential

There is a new wonderkid goalkeeper around in FC 24! Toulouse shot-stopper Guillaume Restes worked his way through the academy and the B Team, before being put straight in for the main side this season.

Anatoliy Turbin – 85 Potential 

Benfica has plenty of competition for a first-choice keeper over the next few years. Anatoliy Turbin has the best potential of all their wonderkid goalkeepers. However, Andre Gomes also makes the Top 10, with Samuel Soares not far behind either!

Maarten Vandevoordt – 85 Potential 

Maarten Vandevoordt is a familiar name to Career Mode fans, having been a wonderkid for many seasons now. The Belgian has already agreed to join RB Leipzig from Genk for the start of the 2024/25 season. Yet, this isn’t included in FC 24, so make a move while you can! 

Bart Verbruggen – 85 Potential 

With Robert Sanchez joining Chelsea, Bart Verbruggen had big gloves to fill when he joined Brighton. Although Jason Steele looks to be the first choice at the moment, the Dutch keeper is definitely one for the future.

Lucas Chevalier – 84 Potential 

Lucas Chevalier has become the first-choice GK for his boyhood club Lille. He was part of the squad for their title-winning campaign in 2020/21, although he didn’t get to make an appearance. He will hope to change that in the future unless you decide to bring him to your club!
