Although it might not be your first thought, signing a top goalkeeper in FC 24 Career Mode is essential to winning titles. Bring in a promising player, pop them between the sticks, and in a few seasons you will have one of the best around! 

Usually, we classify the best young players as anyone who is 23 years old or younger at the start of your FC 24 Career Mode save. However, as goalkeepers usually develop later and have longer careers, this has been upped to anyone who is 25 years old or younger. 

Gianluigi Donnarumma – 87 Overall 

Once again, big Italian Gianluigi Donnarumma is the best young GK you will be able to get on the game. Not only that, but he is also one of the best-rated players around. He has cemented himself as PSG’s no.1 and has the joint-highest potential for his position. 

Gregor Kobel – 87 Overall 

Despite missing out on a Bundesliga title, Gregor Kobel had an excellent season with Borussia Dortmund last year. His rating rose throughout the season in various FIFA 23 updates. The Swiss star now has an 87 Overall rating and 90 Potential, drawing level with Donnarumma on both fronts.

Aaron Ramsdale – 84 Overall 

Another man who missed out on title success, Aaron Ramsdale will be hoping to show off his class once again in the Arsenal goal. However, Mikel Arteta looks to have replaced him with Brentford’s David Raya. Will Ramsdale thrive under the competition for his place or crumble as Arsenal did last season? 

Diogo Costa – 83 Overall 

Highly sought-after Diogo Costa could be the go-to GK signing on Career Mode in FC 24 if you don’t want to pay too much of a premium. With top GK Reflexes, he is great at one-on-one situations. Porto won’t let the Portugal stopper go for cheap though, so you will need to pay over his market value.

Giorgi Mamardashvili – 81 Overall 

Georgia may not have the best footballing heritage, but Giorgi Mamardashvili won’t care about that. The Valencia GK can become a top player, and his long throws will be useful for starting quick counter-attacks.
