Erling Haaland – 91 Overall

To the surprise of nobody, there is a tie at the top of the best strikers in FC 24, with Manchester City goal machine Erling Haaland and PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe sharing a 91 OVR. Haaland is a total phenomenon, continuing to score goals at a ridiculous rate no matter who the opposition is. The Norweigian, Mbappe, and Vinicius Jr are also tied as the players with the highest potential rating in the game, all with 94 POT. He is still only 22 years old, putting him at the top of the best young players too!

Kylian Mbappe – 91 Overall

If you ask Ultimate Team players, most will say Kylian Mbappé is the best player to use in-game. He just feels different to control than any other player! It helps that he is the fastest player in FC 24, one of the best dribblers, best at shooting, and has five-star skill moves! The Frenchman has everything you could want in a forward, including the Quick Step+, Acrobatic, Finesse Shot, Flair, Rapid, and Trivela PlayStyles. He won’t be at PSG for much longer, so make sure you swoop early to try and sign him in Career Mode while you can still get him at a fairly reasonable price – maybe even on a free transfer! Randal Kolo Muani certainly has some big boots to fill.

Harry Kane – 90 Overall

Is Harry Kane cursed? Despite scoring goals for fun in the Bundesliga it looks like his new club Bayern Munich is going to miss out on the title for the first time in over a decade! The Englishman may not have the pace or dribbling abilities of other top strikers around, but his shooting, playmaking abilities, and physicality make him hard to handle. His passing capabilities rival some of the best midfielders in the game!

Lionel Messi – 90 Overall

How much longer will Lionel Messi be able to keep his 90 OVR rating? We’re hoping FC 24 is the last installment the Argentine has it in, as he has clearly declined since joining the MLS. The mini-magician is clearly one of the best players of all time and is still very capable technically, but his time at the top is up.

Victor Osimhen – 88 Overall

If Haaland and Mbappe are too expensive for you to sign, then Victor Osimhen would be the next down the line to pick up in Career Mode. He will still cost a pretty penny though! The Nigerian is a great young striker and was one of the best young strikers in FIFA 23. He has a bit of everything to his game, with great pace and physicality to back up fine finishing and decent dribbling stats. For teams who are missing that superstar striker, like Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund, and Bayer Leverkusen, he would be a brilliant acquisition. Although Dortmund do have one of the best wonderkids in Youssoufa Moukoko in their ranks…
