A top CM has to master nearly all skills needed for an outfield player, so it can be hard to find one in FC 24 Career Mode. Luckily, we are going through a time of great young talents, which means there are plenty of wonderkids to look out for.  

We are classing wonderkids as anyone who is a teenager at the start of your FC 24 Career Mode save and are including anyone with a base position of CM. 

Gavi – 90 Potential 

Gavi tops the list of best wonderkid CMs in FC 24, and also made the cut for the best young CM players in the game! Along with his Barcelona and Spain teammate Pedri, he will run the midfield for years, setting the tempo and breaking down play with ease. 

Fabio Miretti – 88 Potential 

Juventus may have the future of Italian football in their ranks, with Fabio Miretti a brilliant prospect. He already has decent physicality about him, and top quality on the ball. With some time spent on the training ground, he could become one of the best around. 

Warren Zaire-Emery – 88 Potential 

Warren Zaire-Emery looks like the new go-to wonderkid signing. At just 17, you have a bit more time to mould him into a superstar. The Frenchman could see a lot more playtime in the PSG midfield this season, which will help his progress no end. 

Joao Neves – 87 Potential 

Benfica is a breeding ground of new talent, with Joao Neves one of the latest coming through. He already has fine passing ability and vision, with decent agility to find pockets of space.

Charlie Patino – 85 Potential 

Charlie Patino has been hailed as the next major star to come through the Arsenal academy, so the Gunners will do everything they can to keep hold of him. Best used as a deep-lying playmaker, you will need to get him to hit the gym to thrive in that position.
