Rodri – 89 Overall
It is no surprise to see Rodri at the top of this list. The Spaniard was instrumental in Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City winning the treble last season and he is clearly the best in the world in the position. However, he does lack acceleration, sprint speed, and agility, which may put you off signing him in your FC 24 Career Mode, even if he is incredible at tackling, long and short passing, and just being the stereotypical ball-winning midfielder and deep lying playmaker rolled into one!
Joshua Kimmich – 87 Overall
Joshua Kimmich has been a smooth operator for Bayern Munich over many seasons now, whether it is at CDM, CM, or RB. He has exceptional crossing stats, so letting him maraud out wide for your side could result in big chances.
Declan Rice – 86 Overall
Despite being one of the best players for West Ham and England over the last few seasons, many still questioned just how good Declan Rice was. Surely any doubters have now seen the light, with Rice fitting into a top Arsenal side with ease and regularly being their best performer! A solid CDM who gained an upgrade in FC 24, he can shield your backline by winning back possession with ease and has stamina for days.
Aurelien Tchouameni – 84 Overall
Real Madrid, and France for that matter, have an abundance of talented youngsters. Aurelien Tchouameni is just one of them, he is already one of the best in the position and he’s just going to keep getting better. He has decent speed attributes for playing in the middle of the pitch, which gives him an edge over others in the same position.
Eduardo Camavinga – 82 Overall
There are so many top players who occupy Eduardo Camavinga’s positions in the Madrid squad already that it could have been hard for him to get minutes. Luckily, he is a versatile player, often starting at left-back for the side. The future Los Blancos midfield is looking scary, with Camavinga and Tchouameni both having 89 POT, and we know they aren’t the only superstars in the squad!
