Road to the Knockouts upgrades explained 

Selected Road to the Knockouts cards have a few opportunities to gain upgrades. One in-form boost will come if their team gets two wins in the Group Stage, another if they qualify for the Knockout Stage in the tournament.

Additionally, the Women’s Champions League items will gain an upgrade for qualifying from Round 2 to the Group Stage of the competition.

The RTTK upgrades work as follows:

UEFA Champions League, Europa League, and Europa Conference League

• +1 IF Upgrade – If their team wins at least two of their remaining Group Stage matches 
• +1 IF Upgrade – If their team qualifies for the Knockout Stage 

Women’s Champions League 

• +1 IF Upgrade – If their team qualifies for the UWCL Group Stage from Qualifying Round 2
• +1 IF Upgrade – If their team wins at least two of their Group Stage matches 
• +1 IF Upgrade – If their team qualifies for the Knockout Stage 

Upgrades will go live in-game on the Friday of each match week. This will happen at the end of the week following a club earning their second win of the Group Stage or after mathematically qualifying for the next round.

The upgrades are based on team performance rather than individual. That means the player doesn’t need to feature in the games to earn the boosts. 

Any match won after September 29 will count towards the Wins upgrade.

How do RTTK cards get upgraded in FC 24?

Road to the Knockout cards will gain an in-form upgrade if their team wins at least two Group Stage matches and another if their team qualifies for the Knockout Stage. Additionally, UWCL items will gain an IF upgrade if they qualify for the UEFA Women’s Champions League Group Stage from Qualifying Round 2.

When do RTTK cards get upgraded in FC 24?

Road to the Knockouts cards will be upgraded in-game on the Friday of each match week.
