Casemiro
Will Casemiro be one of the best CDMs when 2026 rolls around? In the third season of your save, we expect the Brazilian to possess the defensive and technical qualities to excel as a deep-lying midfielder. While he may not quite be at the very elite level at that stage of the game, most teams will benefit from having Casemiro in the squad either as a back-up, or midfield pivot.
Gianluigi Donnarumma
The best young goalkeeper in the business. It is still hard to believe that Gianluigi Donnarumma is so young, he’s been around for years! Already one of the game’s best stoppers, Donnarumma will likely have the potential to go past Courtois and become the outright best in the world by 2026. Donnarumma is a must-have for your transfer shortlist.
Ederson
The third season is the year of the goalkeeper. Man City and Brazil keeper Ederson could also be available on a free transfer in the 2025/26 season. We could see Ederson receive a boost when the Man City ratings are revealed after their historic treble last season. Ederson will be in his early 30s by the time he is available, so he will still have plenty of time left at the top of the game.
Frenkie de Jong
Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong was a fan-favourite in the FIFA franchise. We expect this to continue in FC 24 thanks to his excellent mobility and physical attributes. The Dutchman is the perfect modern midfielder as he combines his brilliant work rates and physical prowess with technical excellence. Signing him for free can transform your team.
