As you can see, there is a clear theme in the free agents this season. With the Mexican league exclusive to eFootball 2024, the Mexican players in the national team are left without a club in Career Mode.
Which free agents to sign in Career Mode
Out of all the Mexicans available, Jesús Corona and Alexis Vega are the clear standouts. At 30, Jesús Corona can still do a decent job on a free transfer after departing Sevilla, while Alexis Vega possesses bags of pace and has potential growth up to 82.
Luis Chavez is an excellent central midfielder, boasting great mobility, stamina, and technical skills. From the off he has 80 Short Passing, so he will help keep your side ticking. In our save, he reached 80 OVR within the first month with plenty of game time!
Top Tip
As time goes on, more players will become available as Free Agents so make sure to regularly check every six months or so to see if there are any new bargains on the market.
Another of the young talents to look out for is New Zealand CM Marko Stamenic. He doesn’t quite make it into the wonderkids category, but his potential is 80 OVR in the latest updates. Not bad for a free agent at that young age.
Defenders Kevin Alvarez, Jesus Angulo, and Jesus Gallardo are all solid players. Whether they slot in the first team or come in to improve squad depth on the bench, they will help your side.
No GK makes it into the top 10 rated free agents. However, Croatian goalkeeper Ivica Ivusic (OVR 73) is the best available for free from the start of your save.
