There are two ways to get Cobalt Ingot. First, you can refine your Cobalt at the Refinery in Sainte-Anne. Typically, it takes two or three minerals to get an ingot so be prepared. The second method is to destroy ships that are carrying the ingots. These are found around the Coast of Africa. Be careful, you will want to rank up your ship before heading out there.
Best Ways to farm Cobalt and Cobalt Ingot in Skull and Bones
The only way to really farm this mineral is to head to Lake Buri in the central part of the Coast of Africa. Here, you can find three or four nodes near each other that you can use to quickly get around 20 to 40 of the mineral.
Of course, you can also go straight for the refined version of the mineral. If you want to farm Ingot, attack the trade route to the south of the Kaa Mangrove. Ships in this area almost always have Cobalt Ingot on them, allowing you to quickly rack up a large amount of this material.
Attack with force
Make sure that you have strong cannons on your ship if you plan on farming for Cobalt Ingot. Ships in this area typically have strong side cannons so it is best to attack from far away at first before they can get close to you.
