But while each class has their strengths, they also have their weaknesses. So where should you focus your attention to make the most of your Warlock’s power, or round them out into a stronger Guardian across the board.

Here, we’re going to look at the best Destiny 2 Warlock stats. Be sure to pair these stats picks and those in our other class guides with our suggestions for the best Warlock builds, best Hunter builds, and best Titan builds too if you want to be a strong as possible in time for the Final Shape release date.

Best stats for Warlock in Destiny 2

The best stats for Warlock players in Destiny 2 are Resilience and Discipline, in that order. Note that this absolutely doesn’t mean the other stats aren’t important. If we were to rank them by priority, we’d go:

  • Resilience
  • Discipline
  • Recovery
  • Mobility
  • Intellect

Resilience is first because Warlocks are a bit squishier than the other classes. Hunters have a range of great tools and abilities which allow them to disengage from combat and remain highly survivable. Titans are naturally hardy, and great at tanking damage. Warlocks have fewer such traits. Resilience is the stat which gives you a percentage damage reduction based on its tier, climbing up to 30% at maximum. For Warlocks, this can be essential in some of the game’s tougher activities like the weekly Nightfall Strikes.

Discipline is second because Warlocks are an exceptional class for crowd control. Discipline will control the regeneration speed bonus for your grenade ability, one of the best abilities for clearing out hostiles. Warlocks can make great use of this, so Discipline is a good choice.

Past that, the choice is mostly yours. Even though the Healing Rift offers other health regen methods, we still ranked Recovery as third because it’s one of the most important stats within the overall game meta. Mobility, while less useful, can be helpful if trying to disengage from combat. Intellect is great for aiding super regeneration, but is largely superseded by builds that maximise the ways you can get Orbs of Power.

That covers our picks for the best Destiny 2 Warlock stats. If you’re wondering about the best Hunter stats or the best Titan stats, we’ve got you covered in some separate guides.
