What is Deepsight Harmonizer?

Deepshight Harmonizer is a kind of exotic-grade currency found in Destiny 2. It’s used in weapon crafting to convert normal weapons into Deepsight Weapons, or Red Borders as they’re more commonly known.

By dismantling a Red Border weapon, players can unlock progress towards unlocking a weapon’s pattern – this typically takes two to five Red Borders. Once a pattern is unlocked, players can then use the Deepsight Resonance system at the Enclave on Mars to craft a weapon, upgrading it over time and choosing the perks and traits. This effectively allows you to handcraft god-roll weapons, or weapons that best synergise with the best Warlock exotics, best Hunter exotics, or best Titan exotics that you might be running for maximum efficiency.

Red Borders are difficult to get though, with only a handful of ways to pick them up consistently during seasonal activities, raids, or engram focusing. Deepsight Harmonizer thus provides a simple and fast solution, allowing you to instantly convert a weapon and consume its pattern.

How to use Deepsight Harmoniser

To use Deepsight Harmonizer, simply click on the available empty new mod slot on any gun, hover over ‘Deepsight Resonance’ or ‘Deepsight Activation’, and if eligible, you’ll be able to turn any non-raid weapons into Red Border weapons. If it’s a raid weapon though, you’ll need to use additional spoils of conquest to do this. From there, just extract the pattern progress as you usually would.

That’s everything you’ll need to know about how to get Deepsight Harmonizer in Destiny 2, and how to use it. There’s plenty more to experience in Season of The Deep, and new weapons like the Destiny 2 Epochal Integration hand cannon.
