Best Quests to farm Mastery Points (MSP)

The best way to farm Mastery Points is by completing the Slimepede quest at the Quest Counter. Outside of this one quest, there are a few that are tailor-made for farming resources, and they are only unlocked after you complete the main story. Outside of Quest Counter missions, there are also repeatable sidequests you can spam during the end-game phase.

Look out for these quests if you want to farm Mastery Points in Granblue Fantasy: Relink

  • Collector’s Digest – Hard
  • Seeds of Trouble – Very Hard
  • Slimepede – Maniac

Best MSP and EXP farming quest – Slimepede

The best way to farm MSP and EXP is the Slimepede quest. When you unlock it, you shouldn’t bother with any other quest. During this quest, you have three minutes to fight an endless supply of Slimes, all giving a ton of money, EXP, and MSP. However, Slimepede is only unlocked incredibly late into the game when you unlock Maniac difficulty.

With that in mind, when you unlock this quest you can grind everyone to level 100 in no time. Make sure you load your characters up with Sigils that grant more EXP, Money, and MSP to make the most of it. Bear in mind that the maximum amount of MSP you can have at once is 99,999, and you will stop gaining any after this point.

Prismatic Slime

During the Slimepede quest, there is also an extremely rare chance to encounter a Rainbow Slime, also known as the Prismatic Slime. Killing this Slime enemy will grant you obscene amounts of Mastery Points, EXP, and money. Better yet, you will also get some extremely rare item drops from it in the shape of Damascus Ingot, 500x Knickknack Vouchers, Ambrosia, and Azurite’s Splendor.

Seeds of Trouble MSP Farm

Seeds of Trouble will be the second-best way to farm EXP and Mastery Points in Granblue Fantasy: Relink. This quest is fantastic for getting your level 50 or 60 characters up to level 70 in no time at all. With a bunch of Slime enemies and several waves of easy-to-beat foes, Seeds of Trouble is one of the best ways to farm MSP in Relink.

How to farm MSP with sidequests

As you enter the very final difficulty of the game – Maniac and Proud – you will unlock repeatable sidequests that you can spam for a cool 700 MSP. Two of these quests are found in Folca and they are called Futureproof Trading and Presentproof Investing. We’ve found a method for repeating these quests without needing to leave town to refresh them.

The best thing about these two quests is that you can seemingly repeat them forever. To do this, accept and complete one of these quests. Open the menu and go to Lyria’s Journal and then quit out of the Journal to find the sidequest will have refreshed. Take the quest and give the items again, repeating this quest whenever you need a quick 700 MSP.

Futureproof Trading

Speak to the Gifted Merchant near the Quest Counter and he will ask you for five Fire Shards and five Earth Shards. Give him both to get 9800 EXP and 700 MSP, along with a Fortitude Crystal (L) and three Fortitude Crystal (M).

Presentproof Investing

Head over to Folca and go past the small fishing pond to find the Opportunistic Merchant. He is asking for five Wind Shards and five Water Shards. Give them to him to get 9800 EXP and 700 MSP. You also get a Rainbow Prism and three Flawless Prisms for your troubles.

Cremate Cards also help with MSP

One of the best ways to get MSP is to unlock characters through Crewmate Cards. When you unlock a character, they will come partially levelled and have their Masteries increased up to a point. You also get an MSP unlock bonus each time you get a character, which will be added to your total MSP.

Mastery Points (MSP) is a limited resource in Granblue Fantasy: Relink. Every character has a set of skills and stat enhancements known as a Masteries board. Each character has two trees to fill up, costing a huge amount of MSP. These stats are vital for getting through Maniac and Proud quests, along with upgrading weapons.

In this long skill tree, each character can spend MSP to unlock a permanent stat increase or learn a new Skill. As you progress through the skill tree, you will get access to stronger boosts and ways to enhance your combat skills even further.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink Mastery Point farming FAQs

How does MSP work?

Mastery Points are shared between all characters, which means your total goes down every time you unlock a new node in the skill tree. MSP is given as a quest reward, and from defeating enemies.

Why are Mastery Points important?

You need MSP to make your characters stronger. The more Mastery nodes you unlock for that character, the more Power they will have and the stronger that character will be.
