As a rare drop from Furycane, you might get unlucky due to the RNG nature of some material drops. The best way to ensure all materials is to get the highest Quest rating by fulfilling side goals.

How to farm Vitality Hoof from Quests
To farm Vitality Hoof, you will need to beat Furycane in the Maniac Quest, The Saga Continues: Wind. The Vitality Hoof material is obtained from the chests at the end of the fight, so it is entirely down to RNG. If you look at the quest on the board, you will see that Vitality Hoof only appears as a Drop item, meaning you have a chance to get it at the end of the mission. Whether or not your overall score will help you here is unclear, but there’s no harm in trying for better rewards.
Can you get Vitality Hoof anywhere else?
You can, but only at Siero’s Knickknack Shop using Gold Dalia Badges. Otherwise, beating Furycane is the only way to get the Vitality Hoof. The quest is unlocked only at the Zegagrande Legend Skyfarer Grade.
We got our first Vitality Hoof after our fourth time beating the mission, without completing a single side goal. At the end of the day, the drop chance for the material is all that matters, and the RNG will either bless or curse you.
These items, which are needed for the final weapon ascension rank on Ascension weapons, are frustratingly rare. In order to better get through the quest, we recommend you grind everyone to level 100 by doing the Slimepede quest, which unlocks after you can take on Maniac Quests. Doing so will also net you a bunch of MSP, which will also help your characters get stronger.
Get Vitality Hoof from Siero
The Vitality Hoof can be purchased from Siero after you complete The Saga Continues: Wind. If you have enough Dalia Badges, you can spend five of them to trade for a single Vitality Hoof. We don’t fully recommend this strategy, but you should do if it you only need one more, for example. Generally speaking, you will be more than capable of beating Maniac-difficulty Furycane since you will have to go through a bunch of other quests to unlock it.
