The special Damascus Ingot in Granblue Fantasy: Relink is a fabulous item that can help you completely skip out on needing materials for uncapping max level for your weapons.

Damascus Ingots are only obtainable from a scarce few sources, with one of them being given to you for free. Outside of this, you will need to hunt the others down with fervour. We know some methods, so worry not.

How to get Damascus Ingot

To get Damascus Ingot, you can trade 20 Dalia Badges with Siero for one of them. Or you can get one from killing the extremely rare Prismatic Slime enemy.

Outside of these methods, you are given two for free, received when you get the Whitewing Key from unlocking Maniac difficulty mode and when you complete the Side Quest Slime After Slime. As you can see, Damascus Ingots are extremely difficult to come across, and this is for good reason.

If you want to find a Prismatic Slime – otherwise known as a Rainbow Slime – your best bet is to spam the Slimepede quest, as this quest has a very low chance of spawning one. Killing the Slime grants heaps of rewards, so if you’re lucky enough you might be able to get three or four at once. Be warned, the spawn rate for Prismatic Slime is outrageously low and you can go for over 100 runs of the mission without it spawning.

Damascus Ingot use

This item is used to increase a weapon’s level cap for free. This means you can use one instead of all the required materials you need to uncap a weapon to the next rank. As such, we highly recommend that you only use it on a weapon that is at level 125, since the final weapon rank is 150.

Getting a weapon to level 150 takes a ton of high-level materials that you can only get by beating some of the toughest bosses in the game. Due to this, you can see why this item is so worthwhile, letting you totally bypass the grind of getting every material and breaking free from any cursed RNG runs.
