Assassin’s Creed Mirage outfits don’t just allow you to customise the clothes on Basim’s back as you explore Baghdad thanks to dyes and costumes, but they also provide stats boosts, perks, and buffs, acting as armor. With a pivot away from the RPG elements of the series’ more recent entries like AC Valhalla and Odyssey, there are far fewer outfits to collect, but you’ll still, generally, have to go out of your way to track them down.
We’ll walk you through all the AC Mirage outfits locations below. Initiate of Alamut Outfit
Location: Basim’s starting outfit, available from A New Beginning mission onward.
Perks: Silent Blade – enemies hear 50%/75%/100% less noise emitted by Basim during assassinations.
Upgrade schematic location:
- Schematic 1: attain the Hidden Ones rank of Apprentice, specifically for killing your first major target, The Slaver, during The First Order main story quest
- Schematic 2: attain the Hidden Ones rank of Novice by either completing the Fire and Wisdom, Coins and Daggers, or Blood and Shadows story arcs.
Abbasid Knight Outfit
Location: Monastery of the Virgins Gear Chest in the southwest of the Tabik part of Karkh. Enter the ground floor room on the north side of the main building then shift the movable shelf out of the way to access the room containing the chest.
Perks: Lick Your Wounds – Basim regenerates 1%/2%/3% health every 2 seconds while unseen, up to 50% of maximum health.
Abbasid Knight Outfit Upgrade Schematic location:
- Schematic 1: Tax Collector’s Mansion Gear Chest in the west of the Tabik district of Karkh, just before the border with Haylanah in Abbasiyah. Hop up to the balcony and enter the room on the second floor to find the chest.
- Schematic 2: Qasr Salih Gear Chest in the northwest of Sharqiyah in Karkh. Head to the highest point of the restricted area to find a breakable floor. On the balcony below are some fire pots. Grab one and make your way back up using the crates on the side of the building, then throw the pot at the floor. Jump down and grab the chest.
Zanj Uprising Outfit
Location: Khurasan Gate Guardhouse Gear Chest in the southeast of the Khuld area of Harbiyah. The chest is in a fenced-off area at the top of the house. Break the jars to the right of the locked gate, then shift the left movable shelf forward and hit the jars behind the right-hand shelf. Move the right shelf forward then grab the chest.
Perks: Infamous – reduces the impact of illegal actions on Basim’s notoriety by 20%/30%/40%.
Zanj Uprising Outfit Upgrade Schematic location:
- Schematic 1: Upper Harbor Gear Chest docked on in the northeast of Khuld in Harbiyah. The chest is on a ship docked just off the coast. Move the movable shelves around to reach the chest.
- Schematic 2: Prince’s Palace Gear Chest in the southeast of Khuld in Harbiyah.
Rostam Outfit
Location: complete The Marked Coins contract, which you can pick from the Contracts Board at any any Hidden Ones Bureau in Baghdad.
Perks: Sound of Silence – enemies hear 50%/75%/100% less noise emitted by Basim while moving.
Rostam Outfit Upgrade Schematic location:
- Schematic 1: The Traitor Contract
- Schematic 2: Orion’s Belt Contract
Hidden One Outfit
Location: Mazalim Courts Gear Chest in the northeast of the Administrative District of the Round City. Destroy the breakable window near the top of the west facing tower and hop in to find the chest.
Perks: Deadly Moment – focus chunks fill an additional 5%/10%/15% when performing stealth kills.
Hidden One Outfit Upgrade Schematic location:
- Schematic 1: Shurta Headquarters Gear Chest in the middle of the Commander’s District, which is in the east of the Round City. The chest is on the roof of the headquarters. You’ll likely have to take out a few guards to reach it so be prepared to fight or stealth your way up there.
- Schematic 2: Al-Jahiz’s House Gear Chest in the Residential District of the Round City. On the roof is a breakable floor. On the level below is a fire pot. Shift the movable shelves near where you find the fire pot so that you can hop on them to reach the roof while carrying the fire pot. Walk on the rope to your left to get back to the other rooftop, then throw the pot at the floor to destroy it. Jump down to grab the chest.
Milad’s Outfit
Location: collect five Mysterious Shards and bring them to the slab with five glowing triangles in the hidden chamber underneath the lake in the Northern Oasis in the Wilderness North. If that doesn’t sound familiar, check out how to find the hidden place and reveal the chamber’s secrets.
Perks: Forgotten Terror – successful air assassinations set off a flash of lightning to disorient bystanders within a 15 m radius.
Milad’s Outfit Upgrade Schematic location: Milad’s Outfit is already fully upgraded to rank 3.
Paid DLC Outfits
Aside from the six Assassin’s Creed Mirage outfits you can unlock by playing through the game, there are three paid DLC outfits available if you purchase a specific edition of the game or throw some cash at the in-game Animus Store.
Sand Outfit
Location: Assassin’s Creed Mirage Deluxe edition or Deluxe Pack DLC £4.99/$9.99. Inspired by the Prince of Persia the Sands of Time, it includes the Sand Outfit, Desert Sands Initiate of Alamut Outfit Dye, Sand Sword, Dagger of Time, Sand Eagle Eagle skin, Sand Horse Mount skin, and Hourglass of Time Talisman.
Perks: Second Chance – once during a conflict, Basim can survive a lethal hit and slow down time for 3/4/5 seconds.
Sand Outfit Upgrade schematic location: the Sand Outfit is fully upgradeable when you purchase the pack.
Fire Demon Outfit
Location: Fire Demon Pack DLC £11.99/$14.99, includes the Fire Demon Outfit, Red Initiate of Alamut Outfit Dye, Demon Claw Sword, Demon Fang Dagger, Simurg Eagle skin, and Merthykhuwar Mount skin.
Perks: Incinerate – sets the target on fire after a successful assassination and burns the body away after a short delay.
Fire Demon Outfit Upgrade Schematic location: the Fire Demon Outfit is fully upgradeable when you purchase the pack.
Jinn Outfit
Location: Jinn Pack DLC £7.99/$9.99. Comes with Jinn Outfit, Jinn Sword, and Jinn Dagger.
Perks: Lasting Curse – afflictions applied to enemies last 100% longer.
Jinn Outfit Upgrade Schematic location: the Jinn Outfit is fully upgradeable when you purchase the pack.
