During the Assassin’s Creed Mirage The Calling quest, you’re tasked with finding the hidden place mentioned by Nehal. The quest objective is a little light on details, leaving you to track down the chamber with the vague mention that it’s located north of the ‘Aqarquf Dunes.
We’ll walk you through where to find the hidden place and once you’re there how to reveal the chamber’s secrets. Assassin’s Creed Mirage Hidden place location
The hidden place is located in the small lake next to the Northern Oasis fast travel viewpoint in the Wilderness North. It’s roughly north of the ‘Aqarquf Dunes, east of Anbar where you reunite with Nehal, and south of Ukbara, the northernmost settlement on the map.
When you get to the oasis, enter the lake and swim south, then dive down to find a hidden path leading to a secret entrance. Follow it, then surface into a cave. Follow the path forward. There’s only one way to go so you can’t go wrong here. You’ll come to a chamber – the hidden place. There, you’ll find three slabs, each with a different number of glowing triangles on the front.
How to reveal the chamber’s secrets
To reveal the chamber’s secrets in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, you’ll need to gather up Mysterious Shards and bring them back to the chamber under the lake in the Northern Oasis.
There are 10 Mysterious Shards to collect in total. You get Mysterious Shards by pickpocketing marked civilians, two for each of the five regions that make up Baghdad and the Wilderness. They appear on the map as a small golden shard. Typically, the NPC is shadowed by one or two guards. You can either kill the guards and the NPC, or use stealth to slyly pickpocket the shard. Blow darts work particularly well here – take on the shard carrier and guards, then simply loot the shard.
Here’s how many Mysterious Shards you need for each slab and what they unlock:
- 2 Mysterious Shards – The Samsaana dagger
- 3 Mysterious Shards – Shamshir-e Zomorrodnegar sword
- 5 Mysterious Shards – Milad’s Outfit
