While Assassin’s Creed Mirage isn’t even close in size to Valhalla, you will want to know how to fast travel in AC Mirage to get around the map as easily as possible.
In AC Mirage, you play as Basim as you explore ninth-century Baghdad. You can travel the whole map on foot or ride your mount to get around from place to place. The best way to get somewhere in a hurry, however, is by fast travelling. This is a feature that returns in AC Mirage and is useful if you want to speed things along.

How to fast travel and use Viewpoints in AC Mirage.
To fast travel in AC Mirage, you all need to do is unlock a Viewpoint and Synchronise with it when you read the top. This will be familiar to anyone who has played a previous Assassin’s Creed game and the system is exactly the same.
You can identify Viewpoints on your map by looking for an icon of a bird with its wings spread out, alternatively, you can spot them in-game by looking for tall buildings or structures with eagles flying around the top of it. To activate Viewpoints as a fast travel point, you need to climb all the way up to the top.
In true Assassin’s Creed style, when you reach the top you can press a button to Synchronise with the view, which will reveal a radius on your map and show you what’s in the area. Once you’ve done this – and, of course, leapt from the terrifying height safely into a shockingly short bale of hay – you will be able to use this Viewpoint as a fast travel point for the rest of the game.
While you have to activate these Viewpoints first, they are excellent for helping you get around the map later in the game when you just don’t want to walk or call your mount for a journey. Sometimes you won’t always be able to fast travel, like if you’re in a dungeon, but you can always use them to dart from place to place.
