How to unlock Tool slots in AC Mirage

Unlocking Tool slots in Assassin’s Creed Mirage is done through investing your Skill Points. You get access to two tools after progressing the story – the throwing knives and the torch. Throwing Knives are perfect for dealing with enemies from a safe range while the torch lets you navigate darker areas with ease.

There are a total of six tools in AC Mirage, all of which can be unlocked as you progress through the main story. You can get the Blowdart, Smoke Bomb, Trap, and Noisemaker. In order to unlock more Tool Slots, you will need to use skill points to unlock these skills in the Trickster tree:

  • Extra Tool Capacity 1
  • Extra Tool Capacity 2
  • Extra Tool Capacity 3

How to change Tools in AC Mirage

Changing Tools is incredibly easy in AC Mirage, all you need to do is hold on R2 (on PS5, if on Xbox hold down the Right Trigger) to bring up the Tool radial menu. Within this menu, you can select the tool you want to equip and you then need to press L2 to prepare the Tool for use. For example, holding down L2 with the Throwing Knives equipped will prep a knife to be thrown, you need to aim and press R2 to throw the knife.
