How to use Enkidu the eagle in AC Mirage

When playing as Basim, you can press up on the D-Pad at any time to summon Enkidu. Once you press the button, the camera will zoom out and you will be flying overhead as Enkidu the eagle. As Enkidu, you can fly around a massive radius, ping enemies, and spot important locations and several other points of interest such as collectables.

As you fly around, you can hold L2 (on PS5) to stop moving and become still while in the air. This lets you pause and take a look around to spot anything and while you do this you can place custom markers that will show up on your overhead compass when you return to Basim.

If you’re ever stuck on where to go or you want a better lay of the land, using Enkidu to scout for you is the best way to get to grips with your surroundings. You can’t use Enkidu while you’re indoors or in a cave, so bear that in mind as you proceed. If you invest your Skill Points, you can get a passive skill Pathfinder that lets Enkidu spot Keys, chests, Secret Entrances, and other useful things.

That’s all you need to know about how to use Enkidu in AC Mirage. If you want more guides, make sure you read our pieces on all Dervis’ Artifacts locations and all Assassin’s Creed Mirage Enigma locations and solutions.
