Is Lethal Company cross platform?

No, Lethal Company is not cross platform. At the time of writing, the game is only available on PC through Steam. The game released into early access on Steam in October, and as of yet the game is not available on any other platform. As such, there’s no crossplay available for the game whatsoever, meaning any console players will have to make do with the PC version.

Will Lethal Company have cross platform support in the future?

Currently, we simply have no knowledge about whether or not Lethal Company will get cross platform support in the future. Solo developer Zeekerss has not confirmed if there are any plans for the game to move to other platforms in the future.

We think that it’s fairly likely that Lethal Company will eventually make its way to consoles like Playstation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and maybe even mobile devices, especially thanks to its massive surge in its player base. However, we have no idea if crossplay will be involved, but given its multiplayer features and focus on cooperative gameplay and teamwork, it would be a great option.

Use Mods!

Even if you could play on console, Lethal Company is best played on PC thanks to its modding scene. Players have made hundreds of incredibly fun mods to make every run even better.

As a project from a solo dev, Lethal Company’s development will likely be focused on additions to the game’s content first and foremost, and cross-platform capabilities may be a feature that has to take a backseat in order to allow that, so while it may come once it leaves its early access phase, it may be a while before you can survive the game’s creatures with your crewmates across different devices.

While the game being cross platform would definitely be popular, the PC version will likely always be the definitive version. As well as it being PC-first, the popularity of mods for the game, mean it will be the best place to play it for players who want to use the variety of mods that have sprung up for the game.
