All Lethal Company computer commands

You can access the computer by approaching it and pressing E on the keyboard. Once you’ve logged in, a screen will appear where you can type in certain commands. Type one in and hit Enter to open up the relevant page. Here is a list of all the commands you can use on the terminal in Lethal Company:

  • Help
  • Moons
  • Store
  • Bestiary
  • Storage
  • Scan
  • View Monitor
  • Switch
  • Ping
  • Unlocking Secured Doors

Help

By typing in the Help command, you will receive a list of commands you can type in. This is a good command to know when you’re starting out, but you’ll soon learn what everything does and won’t need to use this so much.

Moons

The Moons command lets you view all of the different moons you can explore in Lethal Company. This is the most important command to know, as you need to use it to actually visit any moon. This screen will tell you about each moons and its weather conditions to help you choose where to go. Simply choose a moon, and then type Confirm to select it, or Deny to choose another.

As well as this, you can type in the name of the moon and ‘info’ to bring up an info page telling you about the moon in more detail (e.g. ‘Experimentation info’).

Alex’s Advice

You don’t need to use the Moons command to choose a moon. If you know where you want to go, just type in the name of that moon from the get-go to head there.

Store

This command opens up the store and lists a number of items you can purchase in the game, as well as the cost of each one. These items will be crucial to surviving in this game, especially when it comes to exploring some of the moons with higher hazard levels, such as the Zap Gun, Inverse Teleporter, Stun Grenade, Shovel and more.

Here is a list of all the items available in the store and their prices:

  • Boombox – 60 Credits
  • Extension Ladder – 60 Credits
  • Flashlight – 15 Credits
  • Pro Flashlight – 25 Credits
  • Jetpack – 700 Credits
  • Lockpicker – 20 Credits
  • Radar Booster – 60 Credits
  • Shovel – 30 Credits
  • Spray Paint – 50 Credits
  • Stun Grenade – 30 Credits
  • TZP-Inhalant – 120 Credits
  • Walkie Talkie – 12 Credits
  • Zap Gun – 400 Credits

Bestiary

The Bestiary menu is a recording of all the creatures you have come across in the game so far. This tells you all the info you need about each monster, helping you survive any future encounters. This also doesn’t reset after each run, so once you’ve seen each monster, you won’t have to see them again to record the info. Just type the monster name you want to check.

Just like with the moons, you can type the name of any creature you want to know more about to bring up a page with more detail about that specific monster.

Storage

Storage lets you move things around in your ship. Simply use this command, and then you can pick up furniture with the B key, rotate and place it wherever you want.

Scan

This is one of the best commands you have access to, and should be used first thing when you land on any moon. It will scan the moon you’re on, telling you how many items there are and the total value of the items. Useful to keep track of how much you’ve collected on any run.

View Monitor

Right now, the View Monitor function is more useful in theory than it is in practice. It lets you view your surroundings on your current moon, but is quite hard to use and not very useful. Worth trying out, but not one you’ll use too often.

Switch

This is where the View Monitor command comes in handy. Once you use the View Monitor command, type in ‘Switch [Player Name]’ to swap the camera’s view to a particular player. This way, you can guide another player through a walkie-talkie to help them navigate the facility, and hopefully avoid any dangerous creatures.

Ping

The Ping command is one you can use once you’ve purchased a Radar Booster. You can type Ping [Radar Booster name] to tell your crewmates where the Booster is, giving them an idea of what direction the exit is. This can be a great means of helping someone escape if they’re in danger.

Transmit

If you’re bought a Signal Translator, you can actually send messages to other players using it, if you don’t have another means of contacting them. Simply type ‘transmit [your message]’ and it will display your message across the screen for players to see.

Unlocking Secured Doors

Throughout many facilities are some Secured Doors which can only be opened through using the terminal. These doors all have a unique identification code on them in the form of a letter and number. Tell this to your teammate manning the terminal, and they can use the Unlocking Secured Doors command to open them for you.
