Knowing how to level up fast in MLB The Show 24 is not common knowledge. Like many level-based sports games, it can be a grind to get higher. Leveling up means more rewards, more stubs, and a better overall playing experience. Unfortunately, it can feel like ages between levels, so here’s how you can do it quickly and reap the benefits.
How to get XP quickly in MLB The Show 24
Whether you’re a Diamond Dynasty, Franchise Mode, or Road to the Show player primarily, XP is very important. Fortunately, the XP method is really simple: just play the game. Every single thing you do in this video game will grant you some XP, and it all adds up.
We have found that grinding Road to the Show is the best way to level up quickly. In a matter of minutes, you can play multiple games. Depending on how you perform, you can get 100 to 200 XP each game. If in the span of an hour, you play 10 or so games, that’s an easy 2,000 XP just for playing normally.

The most fun game mode, in our opinion, is Road to the Show. It’s so easy to sink a lot of time into it, and that always rewards us with plenty of XP. That then translates to a lot of helpful rewards, so it’s a really great way to grind the game overall.
However, within Road to the Show, you can target XP and try to earn more of it. Your avatar has program missions to complete. Check those frequently, and try to do them. They’re usually fairly simple: record 15 plate appearances, get 30 hits, or tally 20 infield assists. Make note of where you are and what you need to do and try to aim for that, and you’ll get both XP and program stars.
Diamond Dynasty mode is a grind as well, and you can earn fast MLB The Show 24 XP with it. Again, you can just play the regular missions and earn experience with ease, but you may want to target XP-rich tasks within this game.
You can play Mini Seasons, Conquests, or Online Events to get the most XP. If you’re a Diamond Dynasty gamer, then you will get the added benefit of also grinding the programs and getting better cards for your lineup in MLB The Show 24.
March to October also has some good XP methods. Playing this and doing well grants a good amount of XP, and you can get Team Affinity to help your Diamond Dynasty roster as well. Franchise Mode is the same, though without any extra benefit. Every game mode offers some XP, and you get more the better you perform. XP remains the same on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and all platforms.
