How do you save in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
To save in FF7 Rebirth, follow these steps:
- Tap the Options button on your PS5 DualSense controller to bring up the main menu.
- Select the Save/Load, the before last option in the menu.
- On the next screen, tap Save.
- Choose either an Empty Slot or an existing save slot to overwrite.
- Choose Yes when asked whether to ‘save you progress to this slot’.
From this menu, you can also load previous saves should you need to.
Does FF7 Rebirth have autosave?
Yes, FF7 Rebirth does have an autosave feature to accompany manual save. From what we can tell, it saves the game after major story beats, after completing significant story and side quests objectives, and occasionally when you’re out exploring the open world. Though useful, we wouldn’t recommend relying on autosave to safeguard your progress. Remember to always make a manual save before exiting the game.
