How To Unlock And Reach Darkmoon Faire

The Darkmoon Faire makes an appearance exactly once a month. It starts on the first Sunday of each month and lasts for an entire week. Although there’s no level restriction for players who want to experience this carnival, all it takes is to make your way to Darkmoon Island through a portal.

There are two portals leading to Darkmoon Island, and choosing them depends on which Faction you belong to. If you’re from the Alliance, then make your way to the portal located in Elwynn Forest; otherwise, if you belong to the Horde Faction, head over to the portal in Mulgore. Either way, you’ll end up on the mist-shrouded island, where the Darkmoon Faire takes place.

Profession Quests For Primary Profession

Here’s a list of all Profession quests available at the Darkmoon Faire for Primary Professions:

1. Alchemy: A Fizzy Fusion

Go to the NPC vendor Sylannia in Darkmoon Faire, and she has the “A Fizzy Fusion” quest ready for you. However, this quest requires you to bring 5 Moonberry Juice, which you can buy from Kuruk (Horde) or Innkeeper Farley (Alliance), depending on your Faction. Once you bring them to Sylannia, you can initiate this quest by buying 5 Fizzy Faire Drinks from Sylannia.

She’ll then give you the Cocktail Shaker to combine the Moonberry Juice and Fizzy Faire Drinks to create 5 servings of Moonberry Fizz. Once done, turn it over for your reward.

2. Blacksmithing: Baby Needs Two Pair Of Shoes

For the Crafting Profession of Blacksmithing, you have the “Baby Needs Two Pair of Shoes” quest. This is a relatively easy quest that won’t need prior materials. Simply go to Yebb Neblegear in Darkmoon Faire, the relevant NPC, who will give you this quest. This NPC’s horse “Baby” needs horseshoes, which you’ll have to smith at two available anvils.

Since the Baby needs two pairs, you’ll need four horseshoes in total. The anvils can be found at the Darkmoon Faire at 47, 66, and 55, 71 (map coordinates). Anyway, make four horseshoes at either anvil, and then shoe Baby the horse. All that’s left is to claim your reward from Yebb Neblegear once you’re done with Baby.

As mentioned, the Dragonmoon Faire is your primary incentive if you’re looking to amp up your Profession Tree and go further up in your Profession Specialization. Given that you can earn the much-needed Skill Points, Profession Knowledge, and Artisan’s Mettle with little to no effort, make sure to never miss the event.

However, there’s still the Artisan’s Mettle you can get and having a little extra of those won’t hurt at all.

You’ll need Artisan’s Mettles to buy Profession-related items, and also need it as a prerequisite for some quests in Dragonflight. That said, you’ll have to wait for the next Darkmoon Faire event in order to complete them again.

Final Thoughts

This is everything you need to know about the Profession quests in the Darkmoon Faire event. Make sure to complete every Profession quest possible, even if it’s one that’s unfamiliar to you, as the rewards are worthwhile. Looking for more detailed guides on Dragonflight?
