This can be a problem when trying to get Lovander, unless you know where to look. They are a low-level Pal, usually found at about 12 – 14. If you want to get one, you should read on to find where they like to hang out.

Lovander location in Palworld

Lovander can be found in sandy biomes, to the east of the Sealed Realm of the Winged Tyrant fast-travel point. Lovander only appears at night time, so bear that in mind when hunting for one. Lovander can be rare to find at times, but if you are diligent enough you will find one eventually. To find a Lovander, wait until it’s dark and start looking around.

We specifically found our Lovander to the east from the Winged Tyrant fast-travel point, so head there and keep your eyes peeled. Bring a light source as well.

Change the length of days in the World settings

If you don’t want to wait for a full day and night cycle in-game, you can adjust the length of days in the game’s settings. You can change these settings in the ‘World Settings’ option before you load into your game.

If you see the map image above, you can see that Lovander technically can appear at any of these places, but we’re recommending where we found ours. Lovander does spawn elsewhere to the east, but it can be much harder to reach than in this area.

How to catch Lovander in Palworld

To catch Lovander, you should bring a Pal that it is weak to in order to soften it up. Lovander has some hard-hitting attacks, so make sure you’ve got a shield and wear some armour. Either craft a bat or a wooden stick for whacking it, too. Your Pals might be too strong and accidentally kill it, so make sure you watch Lovander’s HP.

Catching a Pal in Palworld is generally the same process over and over again, but you should always aim your Pal Spheres so you don’t waste them. As a quick note, always try and throw your Pal Spheres at a Pal’s back, as this will significantly increase your chances of capturing it.

Palworld – Lovander Skills

One of the main aspects of Pals in Palworld is their skills, and Nox isn’t anything special when it comes to base skills. With only one skill in Gathering, you have plenty of other Pals who can outperform Nox, which means you should focus on using Nox in combat outside of your base. This is the only base skill Nox has:

• Handiwork – level 2
• Mining – level 1
• Medicine Production – level 2
• Transporting – level 2

This spread of skills makes for a decent worker on your Base. Lovander can help craft things with Handiwork, mine ore and rocks by smacking them, producing medicine, and moving materials around. Generally speaking, Lovander is better at the base than fighting by your side, but it’s up to you.

Lovander drops Mushroom, Cake, Suspicious Juice, and Strange Juice. Capturing, killing, or Butching a Pal will grant you items based on what it can drop. Lovander’s loot table is fairly robust, offering a source of Cake and juices, but whether you need these materials is another question.

Capture or kill?

If you’re calculated with your Pals, you could opt to first capture it, to receive the drops, and then Butcher it to get the drops once again. This method will see you murder quite a few Pals, but you can get double the drops from one Pal.
