Badges are back in NBA 2K24, which means you can once again become an absolute beast on the court. Not only can you improve your MyPLAYER’s overall rating, but you can add badges to get even better at certain aspects of the game. Each badge has a requirement, but once you meet it, you can have it. Here are the best ones you should use if you’re aiming for stout defense.
What is the best NBA 2K24 defensive badge?
Naturally, each position on the floor can make different use of each badge. For example, a shooting badge wouldn’t be as useful for a center. On the other hand, a blocking badge wouldn’t be useful for a point guard. Nevertheless, some badges do work pretty well for all positions.
The best defensive badge in NBA 2K24 is Immovable Enforcer. This badge is a direct counter to Bulldozer. It allows defenders to win physical matchups when it comes to body-ups and contact layups. Every single position on the floor will eventually be defending someone who’s shooting a layup. Whether it’s a guard whose man drove to the hoop on them or a rim-protecting big man, everyone finds themselves in this spot.
To unlock this, your strength attribute must be up to the following levels:
- Bronze: 71 OVR
- Silver: 82 OVR
- Gold: 90 OVR
- Hall of Fame: 95 OVR
There is a height minimum of 6’5″, but every single NBA 2K24 build can be that tall if you choose to. The maximum is 7’0″, which does limit your center’s height if you want to get this badge. In my playthrough as a shooting guard, I’m looking at Immovable Enforcer. I am often guarding a top-notch player who will get scoring opportunities, so this helps.
