The new FC 24 Liverpool ratings have certainly caused some discussion, with the Reds not up to their usual lofty standards last campaign. There is hope for Klopp’s men with some exciting new signings, but downgrades have arrived rather than upgrades this season.
As we approach the FC 24 release date, a few the Liverpool squad featured in the FC 24 Premier League ratings reveal, giving us a clue as to what to expect. Obviously, Mohamed Salah is among the best, but some of his teammates have received severe downgrades.

FC 24 Liverpool ratings
Here are the full FC 24 Liverpool ratings:
|Virgil van Dijk||CB||89|
|Alexis Mac Allister*||CM||82|
* Indicates a new signing for the 2023/24 season
Despite this Liverpool side containing some of the top-rated players in EA FC 24, as well as a few best young players and wonderkids, the squad still feels unbalanced. Fabinho, Jordan Henderson, Naby Keita, James Milner, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have all departed, leaving a void in midfield. There is definitely work to be done if you want to manage the side in FC 24 Career Mode, with reinforcements needed at Liverpool FC!
Alisson – 89 overall
We’re always wary when goalkeepers are the best-rated player (or joint-best) in a top team, and that is the case with Liverpool and Alisson. It shows that the side might not have good enough quality out on the pitch – even if the keeper is one of the best in the world. Despite Liverpool’s defensive frailties last season, Alisson showed his class and will keep his 89 OVR in FC 24.
Mohamed Salah – 89 overall
Even in an underperforming team, Mohamed Salah still gets goals and assists. A slight downgrade for the Egyptian has seen him fall out of the 90s club in FC 24. Despite slipping down the player ratings, Mo Salah will still delight fans and strike fear into defenders in the new game.
Virgil van Dijk – 89 overall
Another casualty of the Liverpool downgrades in FC 24 (and not the last), is Virgil van Dijk. The once imperious CB isn’t at the same level he has shown in previous years, with misjudgments and mistakes creeping into his game. Despite a lower rating, his pace and strength will still make him a favourite to use in FC 24 Ultimate Team.
Andrew Robertson – 86 overall
The flying Scot Andrew Robertson is still one of the best full-backs in the game, despite a slight hit to his rating. Solid defensively and brilliant at whipping a cross in, there are few who can compete in his position.
Trent Alexander-Arnold – 86 overall
Trent Alexander-Arnold’s defensive frailties are really highlighted during Liverpool’s poor performances, which have seen him take a -1 downgrade from his FIFA 23 rating. We may see him utilised in midfield, which could suit him more as one of the best passers in FC 24.
Not sure what to expect from FC 24? EA’s new game will still feature all your favourite game modes, licences, leagues, and stadiums. A redeveloped crossplay system that includes FC 24 Clubs is also new this season, making sure you don’t miss a single match with your mates regardless of their platform.
