A run to the World Cup quarter-finals could mean there are some upgrades on the way in the EA Sports FC 24 best Netherlands ratings. However, we are also expecting to see a significant downgrade to their main man at center back!

The Netherlands will have a couple of the best-rated players in FC 24! Despite a downgrade surely coming for Virgil van Dijk, the behemoth at the back will still claim the top spot for the national side. He hasn’t been at his imperious best the past couple of seasons, with Liverpool struggling at the back. 

Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong is a box-to-box playmaker supreme, and will be an Ultimate Team favourite once again! He also has the best potential of any of the Netherlands players in FC 24, so is worth picking up in Career Mode too. 

Although van Dijk looks to be past his peak, the Netherlands squad has a couple of the best young center-backs in FC 24 to take over! Bayern Munich’s Matthijs de Ligt and Newcastle United’s Sven Botman could make a formidable partnership for years to come.

The Netherlands midfield and defense looks to be in safe hands, with some of the best young players and top wonderkids in FC 24 coming from the region. Quite a few of their promising youngsters have also moved clubs over the summer, with Ryan Gravenberch signing for Liverpool, Xavi Simons returning to PSG (although then being loaned out to RB Leipzig), Jurrien Timber brought in to Arsenal, Noa Lang heading to PSV, and Micky van de Ven joining Tottenham! 

Hopefully, those moves will allow the players to learn from other experienced and quality players, helping them reach their potential. Total football has been associated with the Dutch side for decades and the players coming through certainly have the ability to continue that tradition!
