EA Sports FC 24 Chelsea ratings predictions, transfers, and leaks

With a ridiculous amount of transfers going on at the club, fans are eager to see what the EA Sports FC 24 Chelsea ratings will be. Nearly one billion pounds has been spent since Todd Boehly took over last season, so you’d expect their squad to look pretty impressive, wouldn’t you…? 

We won’t know the full capabilities of the squad until we hit the EA Sports FC release date, although a couple from their ranks might appear in the Premier League player ratings reveal! French forward Christopher Nkunku and Raheem Sterling are likely to be their top players this season.

The new transfer policy at Chelsea, aside from just signing Brighton players, is exactly like someone playing FC 24 Career Mode! Sign the best young players in the game and some wonderkids too, then hope they develop into top talents. Surprisingly, the squad doesn’t contain any of the top-rated players in EA FC 24, but the future certainly looks promising. It feels like Romelu Lukaku could have succeeded in this team, but alas he has been deemed surplus to requirements.

Christopher Nkunku – 86 overall 

One of many new faces for Chelsea, Christopher Nkunku joins the club as their best-rated player. The Frenchman has been exceptional in the Bundesliga for RB Leipzig in recent seasons, so fans are expecting a lot from him. Injury has unfortunately hit early, but his pre-season performances showed what he can bring to the side. We also expect him to be a favourite card to use in Ultimate Team!

Thiago Silva – 85 overall 

The old man in the Chelsea defence, Thiago Silva is still going strong at 38 years old! Although he may not have the pace of old, he can read the game incredibly well and has the ability to pick out passes when under pressure, making him one of the better players for Chelsea in FC 24. 

Raheem Sterling – 85 overall 

Looking to get back to his best under new manager Mauricio Pochettino, we all know how good Raheem Sterling can be, but haven’t seen it at Chelsea yet. Leaving Manchester City isn’t looking like such a good idea for the Englishman now, but that could all change. He suffered a slight downgrade during last season, seeing his overall drop from 86 to 85 OVR. He will be looking to improve on that this campaign and may be in the high 80s at the end of the season if he can.

Reece James – 84 overall 

Another man who has got an early injury is Reece James. The flying full-back will play a key role for Chelsea under Pochettino (as he has for all previous managers) and has the potential to become one of the best around in his position. An upgrade is unlikely for the new captain after another injury-hit season.

Enzo Fernandez – 81 overall 

There appears to be a lot of pressure heaped on Enzo Fernandez right now. His price tag alone contributes, but it feels like the midfield at Chelsea is centred around him. The mega-money signing of Moises Caicedo may alleviate some of the pressure, but now Chelsea are left with two £100 million midfielders that have to be picked. Not much margin for error.

EA Sports FC 24 Chelsea ratings leaks

Only the top players in next season’s game have been the focus of leaks so far. Players rated 87 overall or higher have been included. This suggests that no Chelsea player will be rated above an 86 in this season’s game.
