Where to find Miasmite in Dragon’s Dogma 2

Miasmite in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is obtained as loot for killing Phantoms at night outside of cities and settlements. When you pick up the Saint of the Slums quest, one of your Pawns should point this out but it’s easily missed. Note that Miasmite isn’t a guaranteed drop and there’s RNG involved, so you may need to take down several enemies to get the three Miasmite needed for the quest. In our experience, you get 1-2 Miasmite per three Phantoms killed.

Phantoms tend to spawn all over the map but particularly around Vernworth. To draw out Phantoms, make sure it’s nighttime (you can pass time at a bench or inn if needed), then turn on your lantern. Phantoms are wisps of greenish light that dart rapidly in the air. We recommend having an archer in your party to make defeating them easier.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 Miasmite locations

The best Miasmite farming spot we’ve found so far is located in the wilds northeast of Vernworth. Leave through the North Vernworth gate, follow the road past the fields, then cross the large bridge. Phantoms tend to spawn on the other side of the bridge near the crossroads between the paths leading east and west.

✓ Tip

Turn on your lantern

Phantoms are drawn to light so make sure you turn on your Arisen’s hip lantern before going on the hunt for Miasmite.
