Is Dead Island 2 going to be on PS4?

Yes, Dead Island 2 will be released on the PS4 so previous gen players will still be able to enjoy the zombie action RPG title. The story of Dead Island 2 takes place in a post-apocalyptic version of Los Angeles where the area has been quarantined in order to contain a deadly and much stronger zombie outbreak than we saw in the original game. In order to navigate the deadly streets of these cities, you’ll be given the chance to choose from a certain number of playable characters and fight your way through the undead. There will also be special types of zombies that you’ll encounter throughout your journey much like another popular zombie title in Left 4 Dead.

With the Dead Island 2 PS4 release of the game still being more than a handful of weeks away, you’ll still be able to pre-order it to get the bonus content that comes with early purchases. Since progressing through a zombie-filled area can often be difficult, the content that you can get may be the difference between life and a gruesome death.
