Dead Island 2 guns explained

You unlock Dead Island 2 guns when you meet up with Sam B at Nikki Glutte’s mansion in Beverly Hills as part of the Justifiable Zombiecide main story quest. At the mansion, you’ll link up with Sam, who has tracked down a stash of guns. The quest has you mowing through a small horde of zombies, including your first Screamer, before entering a safe room at the back of the mansion to chat with Sam. He’ll hand over a high-powered rifle for you to snipe zombies from the second floor of the mansion. This is number 10 in the Dead Island 2 quests list, so you have a fair few hours to play before you reach this point.

From that point on, you’ll find guns readily around Hell-A: behind locked doors, as rewards for completing side quests, and you can also buy them for a hefty price tag at traders located in safe houses throughout Hell-A, including the Blue Crab Grill in Venice Beach.
