Can you expect to see Dead Island 2 included in Xbox Game Pass? The upcoming zombie RPG title has been in the works for a very long time at this point, so fans of the series are undoubtedly chomping at the bit to play it. That being said, you should always be a little apprehensive about putting your money on a game that has been in development hell as long as this one has. If you are looking to play the game with Game Pass, here is what you need to know.
Is Dead Island 2 going to be on Xbox Game Pass?
Unfortunately, Dead Island 2 is not going to be included with Xbox Game Pass, at least at launch. If you want to play the game, you’ll have to purchase it for your Xbox. Even though it won’t immediately be available on Game Pass, that doesn’t mean that it won’t be introduced to the subscription service at some point. Plenty of other significant titles have eventually made their way to the platform so it could possibly be included in the future. That being said, if you want to play the game now, we don’t recommend waiting for an announcement that might never come.
This zombie slaying title from Deep Silver will similarly be available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. Those playing on the Switch won’t be able to join in on the fun as the beloved handheld console was notably excluded from the game’s list of compatible systems. Not surprising, considering the processing power needed to run the game, which is where that console is known to lack.
