Beaten Lilith and now you’re wondering what there is to do in the Diablo 4 Season 1 endgame? Luckily for you, while the story is a big part of Diablo 4, this game is huge, and is full of extra content to tide you over long after you’ve completed the campaign

Even once the campaign is done and dusted, with access to Diablo 4 mounts, there’s still plenty of content across the Diablo 4 map to keep you busy for a while, so let’s take a look at some of the best Diablo 4 post game content. The Diablo 4 Season Journey has plenty of rewards for players to uncover.

What is there to do in the Diablo 4 Season 1 endgame?

There’s seemingly no end to the content Diablo 4 Season 1 has to offer, so here are a few ideas of what you should be taking on in the endgame:

Diablo 4 post game: The location of the Fallen Temple Capstone Dungeon.

Capstone Dungeons

Diablo 4 Capstone Dungeons are unlocked once you’ve beaten the campaign for the first time. These are two massive dungeons with their levels capped at 50 and 70 respectively. They offer the usual mix of mobs, objectives, and bosses, but at a higher difficulty for that extra challenge, with the promise of some extra rewards, including legendaries.

Increase your World Tier

Once you’ve beaten a Capstone Dungeon, you’ll unlock World Tier 3, with World Tier 4 coming after beating the second one. As well as offering better XP and gold rates than lower World Tiers, you’ll also gain access to rare item and weapon drops that weren’t available before, like Sacred and Unique items, and Nightmare Sigils.

Nightmare Dungeons

With the aforementioned Nightmare Sigils that drop from World Tier 3 and above, you can turn regular dungeons into Diablo 4 Nightmare Dungeons. These will feature more objectives and larger numbers of more powerful enemies. While they’re tough to clear, you’ll be rewarded with very rare gear. Season 1 brings in Diablo 4 Malignant Hearts, powerful buffs that can be earned in Malignant Tunnels. In addition to these dungeons, you can also head into Diablo 4 Helltides, which offer a whole extra set of rare loot.

Diablo 4 post game: The location of one of the Fields of Hatred PvP zones.

Try out PvP

Now you’re at a pretty high level, you might want to test your skills against other players. PvP takes place in designated zones called Fields of Hatred, where you can kill monsters and other players for a currency called Seeds of Hatred, which can be traded in for rare items. If you’re new and don’t know how to get started, our Diablo 4 PvP guide will point you in the right direction.

Paragon Board

Once you gain access to the Paragon Board, you’ll be able to improve your character’s build with a variety of customisable options. Using Diablo 4 Paragon Glyphs, you can upgrade your character’s stats to more effectively create specific builds and make your character even more powerful. Have a play around with it and see what you can do, and how it changes the way your character plays.

Diablo 4 post game: The Wandering Death World Boss

World Bosses

If you haven’t had your fill of bossing from the campaign, then you’re going to want to take on the Diablo 4 World Bosses. World Bosses are giant, powerful monsters that you can take on with other players. You’ll be put into a group of 12, and will have to work together to take on the boss, with some great rewards on offer if you can beat them. They only spawn a few times a day, though, so make sure you’re ready to head over when you get the notification of one about to spawn.

Explore the map

Diablo 4 is a massive game, and if you only completed the campaign quests so far, then you’re missing out on dozens of hours of content outside of it. If you’re feeling like it, head out to some of the areas of the map you haven’t been to yet, and see what unique quests and dungeons are on offer. You can take this time to upgrade your Diablo 4 renown as well, granting you some handy rewards for the end game.

Try a new class

Once you’ve beaten the campaign, you might be getting a little tired of your current class and build, so why not try out a new one? There are four other classes to choose from, and with the ability to skip the campaign, you’ll have them levelled up and clearing dungeons in no time. This will happen either way if you begin Season 1 as regular characters from the Eternal Realm can’t take part in Season of the Malignant. You could even give Hardcore mode a try if you’re feeling confident, a permadeath mode where you lose your character completely if you die.

That’s all the best things to keep you busy in the Diablo 4 Season 1 endgame. If you’re looking to up your renown, you’ll want to complete all of the Diablo 4 Strongholds. And if you’ve made a new character, knowing how to level up fast in Diablo 4 will get you to the end game as fast as possible.
