Cyberpunk 2077 – how to holster your weapon
In order to holster your weapon, there’s are a couple ways to do this. The quickest and easiest way to holster your weapon is to double tap either “alt” on your keyboard, or the weapon swap button on your controller. This will seamlessly lower your weapon and stow it.The other way is to bring up the weapon wheel, and select the gun with the line through it. This is a bit slower, and this does interrupt the flow of gameplay as you’re bringing up a new menu.
Why would you want to stow your weapon? Well, there’s definitely situations in the game where having a weapon drawn may not necessarily be appropriate. One example is if you want to be stealthy in a mission. There could also be more interactive scenarios where having a weapon out would simply ruin the mood. While surely there’s nothing wrong with having your weapon at attention, at least there’s the option to stow it if you need to.
