To use the monowire in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty, bring up the weapon wheel by pressing Triangle on PlayStation, Y on Xbox, or the Left Alt key on PC. Then, highlight the melee equipment slot and scroll through it until you find the monowire. Once you’ve selected it, you will be able to use it as your primary melee weapon in combat.
Keep in mind, though, that the monowire won’t immediately be part of your arsenal if you’re starting out. You can only purchase it from a Ripperdoc for a certain amount of eddies and after your character reaches a specific level, which we’ll be going into further below.

To get a monowire in Phantom Liberty, you will need to purchase it from a Ripperdoc once you reach level 10. This is the only way you can acquire this helpful weapon at the time of writing, so you will need to grind it out for a short while before you can start using it on enemies. Once you have it in your arsenal, though, you can dispatch thugs quickly and quietly with it.
