Cyberpunk 2077 – How to get Street Cred

As we mentioned, Street Cred is your reputation with the different factions and vendors in Night City. In order to get more, you’re going to want to do missions for those vendors, among other activities. The amount of Street Cred that you gain is dependent on what kind of activity or job you complete.

The maximum street cred level you can gain with any one vendor is 50.

What is street cred used for?

In addition to being a marker for how much favor you have with any given vendor, you’ll also gain some nice perks for getting high street cred. For one, you’ll get a nice discount on items sold from the vendors. Here’s a list of the progression of discounts you get based on how much cred you have.

5	1% Discount
10	1% Discount
15	1% Discount
20	1% Discount
25	1% Discount
30	1% Discount
35	2% Discount
45	2% Discount
50	5% Discount

Adding all those up, you can get a maximum of a 15% discount from all vendors by reaching max street cred. In addition to these discounts, you unlock the ability to purchase better equipment, such as cyberdecks with more RAM for example. Tier 5 level gear also becomes more common after you reach 40 street cred.
