In Starfield, Rapid Reloading is a skill in the Combat category. By levelling up this skill, players will be able to reload their weapons more quickly. As an Expert-tier skill, players will need to invest 8 skill points in Combat skills before it can be unlocked. Later ranks are locked behind challenges.
Rapid Reloading skill ranks

| Rank 2 | Players will reload energy and EM weapons 30% faster. | Reload 75 empty magazines. |
| Rank 3 | Players will reload particle beam weapons 30% faster, and gain a 50% chance to avoid interruption while reloading. | Reload 150 empty magazines. |
| Rank 4 | Hitting enemies will give players a chance to reload all weapons 50% faster for 15 seconds. | N/A |
