Weapons in Starfield can be customized to improve their effectiveness or change their appearance. Players will need to seek out a Weapon Workbench to craft and apply weapon mods from various types of resources.

There are several kinds of weapon mods available to create in Starfield. Not every mod type is available for each weapon. Investing in the Weapon Engineering skill will unlock new crafting recipes to research.
