Weapons in Starfield are no use at all without the requisite ammo needed to fire them. There are many types of ammunition found throughout the world of Starfield, and knowing which weapons require which type will be crucial to survival. Luckily, ammo doesn't weigh anything, so players can fill their pockets with as much as they can find with no downside.
