In Starfield, Demolitions is a skill in the Combat category. By levelling up this skill, players will deal more damage with explosives. As an Advanced-tier skill, players will need to invest 4 skill points in Combat skills before it can be unlocked. Later ranks are locked behind challenges.
Demolitions skill ranks

| Rank 1 | Players will now see a trajectory arc when throwing grenades, and explosives now have a 25% larger blast radius. | Kill 20 enemies with explosives. |
| Rank 2 | Players will deal 25% more damage with explosives. | Kill 50 enemies with explosives. |
| Rank 3 | Players will take 25% less damage from explosives. | Kill 100 enemies with explosives. |
| Rank 4 | All previous bonuses are doubled. | N/A |
