Making you way through Koboh for the first time, you’ll come across several droids that appear to get spooked when you get close, burying themselves into the ground and disappearing. Try as you may to pull them towards you using the Force, they’re just too nippy.

How to catch digging droids in Star Wars Jedi Survivor
To kill a digging droid in Star Wars Jedi Survivor, sprint towards it as soon as you spot it and attack with your lightsaber quickly. A single slash or stab typically does the job, killing the droid in one hit. After killing your first one, scan it with BD-1 to learn that they are called Scavenger Droids and behave very differently to other enemies in Jedi Survivor.
Scavenger Droids behave in very much the same way as the Wandering Madness in Bloodborne, for example. They are skittish and will flee at the slightest threat, digging into the ground if they go too long without taking damage. They are resistant to anything but physical damage, so don’t use Force abilities or they’ll immediately burrow into the ground. Killing a digging droid rewards you with a Priorite Shard. If a droid burrows before you have time to kill it, simply rest at a Meditation Point. Doing so respawns all Scavenger Droids you haven’t killed yet.
You’ll likely come across your first one in either the Riverbed Watch or the Sodden Grotto in Rambler’s Reach on Koboh. The Sodden Grotto is not far from the small battle arena where you take on the Jedi Survivor Rancor boss during the Find Missing Prospectors rumour. You’ll find them all throughout the rest of the game, including near some of the other Jedi Survivor bosses.
